Seoulite Inn Myeongdong

Location was absolutely perfect!!! Smack bang in the middle of a very cool food street. Breakfast was basic but fine. They don't clean the rooms every day. It was small but the shower pressure was surprisingly good! Bedding is super functional and warm, almost as if it's made from the material of ski clothing.

stayed in the dormitory with 6 beds. compared to other hostels i stayed at, the room was extremely small, the pictures don’t really show it. as usual there were sick people in my room (i’m very lucky) and the hotel staff tried to help by moving me to a different room that would’ve cost almost as much as my entire stay there:( i’m glad i didn’t do it, was lucky enough not to get sick, and the staff was overall very helpful and accommodating. the common area was nice, the laundry service efficient and cheap, even though in the evenings i saw queues for the drier. the showers weren’t nice, only separated by a partition and with people’s hair stuck in the drain. the hotel doesn’t really provide flip flops, at the beginning i thought they did but apparently not… and the location is perfect for some, i realized that i don’t like being stuck in the middle of the most crowded tourist street and having to get through to the subway station with much difficulty and for a long time even though it’s really close
