Room is big, has basic necessities but the room is not sound proof, can hear noise from other rooms. Also there was a black out on our last night of stay.

Very responsive to our queries, convenient location, clean and tidy.

The room was clean and tidy, but the common corridor had a bad smell and there were a lot of clutter in the corridor.

The location is near Dongdaemun History and Culture Park 10 and there are many shops around, so it was really great! There are many amenities, so you don't need to bring an iron or anything! I had a hard time checking in, but I asked someone in one of the rooms and I contacted the owner directly via LINE. The owner spoke Japanese, which was helpful! I'd like to stay here again!

It was very clean and nice. The towels were all face towel size which made them a little hard to use, and the drains tended to clog so the shower water quickly seeped into the toilet. Other than that it was very good and the air conditioning worked well! The location was also great! I'd love to stay here again!

The elevators in the entire building can also be used by the public. Each household has a different landlord, some are self-occupied, and some are different B&Bs, so there are a lot of debris from different households in the aisles 😂 It feels weird. Each room only has one code lock, and the door cannot be locked inside the house🤯 2. One day, the landlord suddenly changed her password and I couldn't contact her, so I had to find a man who called himself "the person in charge of the floor." Unexpectedly, he was able to find out who was cleaning the room and get my room number with just one phone call! Also shouting out my room and number in the hallway! Fortunately it was an old number, otherwise the whole floor would have known the number! 🤯🤯🤯It’s scary! Two girls are traveling, but the room cannot be locked from the inside, and then there is an uncle who claims to be in charge of the floor who can easily get the password! Then he said, "He doesn't know the new password. He doesn't know about this room." He told me to find the landlord myself, and then left. Finally, I got the new password from the landlord, and the "floor manager" suddenly knocked on the door and asked me for the new password! ? Of course I refused, but he actually argued with me and called me unreasonable! ✅I feel from the decoration of the room that the landlord has good intentions, but she must solve the security problem and add locks in the room, and she must educate the cleaning staff not to give the password to others😑

The location is very good. Not only the scenery but also the transportation is good. It is a fulfilling accommodation. It is very good that the toilet does not get wet when you shower. I will make a reservation next time if there is availability.

The location happens to be near the DDP subway exit. There are many restaurants and department stores nearby, which are very suitable for shopping trips. This is a pop-up trip ~ Thank you very much to the host Xianxian! If you have any questions before departure, you can ask them. The environment and equipment in the house are great! But it may be that the area around the building is being renovated, so the entrance is a little messy. I will choose it again if I have the opportunity to visit Seoul, South Korea in the future! !

The landlord, Xianxian, is very nice and enthusiastic. The location of the B&B is also excellent, right in the Dongdaemun History and Culture Park. It is very convenient to transfer to three subway lines to go anywhere.

This is a private lodging. You will need to be given the entry number after check-in time on the day. There is no check-in counter, so sometimes problems can be dealt with in a timely manner and sometimes not. Once you get used to it, it's not a problem. It's very accessible, just 2 minutes to the subway, and you can enjoy shopping at Dongdaemun until late at night, so I'm glad I chose this place. The shower room was a bit creepy at first, haha, but once you get used to it, it felt like home. It's in the same space as the toilet, and is tiled, so I think it would have been better to bring sandals from home that you don't mind getting wet. There was a small drum-type washer-dryer in the room, which was convenient, but it was difficult to use because it was Korean-style. (How do you wash and dry in succession???)

I have stayed in Dongdaemun more than 50 times on business trips. So I think I have conquered almost all the hotels in Dongdaemun. But among them, Ashley House is the No. 1 in hospitality and convenience. Price range. It was a comfortable hotel that I would not want to think of any other than Ashley House. Let me review my impressions in detail! [Convenience] The subway station is close, the bus stop is close, and the bus stop to Incheon Airport is close. There is no trouble with access to anything. It is also located above the well-known APM PLACE, so you can arrive by just saying a word to the taxi driver from Seoul. It is the most convenient place to go night shopping in Dongdaemun. To go to NyuNyu, which has recently become popular among Japanese people, you can take the bus in front of you after taking the elevator down, and you will arrive in 5 minutes without walking. There is also a single elevator to the hotel, so access to the room is great and not tiring! [About the room] The room has a microwave, a water server with hot and cold water, a washing machine, a kitchen, and even a microwave. There is a transformer so you won't have any trouble charging your phone. I've stayed at hotels that are twice as expensive as this one, but none of them have everything. If I wanted to eat ramen at the hotel in the middle of the night, I would fill it with hot water at a convenience store and bring it into the hotel. I was very grateful to have it in the room. The sunshine is excellent and the view is great. There is a full-length mirror and a makeup mirror, so it was helpful to get ready. I thought the little considerations were wonderful. The calm space was so comfortable that it felt like home when I was traveling. The cleanliness was 100 points! On the contrary, I felt like, is this really the price? 🥺 [Hospitality] This is the part that impressed me the most. This hotel does not have a front desk, so when you make a reservation, the owner will send you a secret number. I was always in contact with the owner via LINE in advance. The owner of Ashley House speaks Japanese very well, so if you have any problems or questions, he will explain them very carefully. The return bus was to Gimpo, but I couldn't find any information on the internet, so I asked the owner, who gave me detailed information with an easy-to-understand map and timetable, and even asked if I could guide me to the bus stop. 😭 I am very grateful for the owner's consideration, which makes me understand why Ashley House is a popular hotel. I was worried about what I would do if it became too popular and I couldn't get a reservation, but I would like to express my gratitude for finding this hotel, which made my work go very smoothly. The location is very good, right next to the subway station. For girls, if you don’t have enough, you can continue to buy! Don’t worry if you’re hungry and won’t find anything to eat. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. I will stay here again next time I have a chance!
