Jeju Shinhwa World Landing Resort: A Dreamlike Luxury Experience
Jeju Shinhwa World Landing Resort stands like a secluded, dreamlike castle on the coast of Jeju Island, perfectly blending natural beauty with luxurious facilities. Stepping into the hotel feels like entering a fairytale, with exquisite decor and attentive service where every detail speaks of high-end quality.
The rooms are spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering captivating sea views. Waking up in the morning to the gentle sea breeze and the soothing sound of waves is utterly delightful. The hotel boasts a rich and diverse dining selection, from authentic Korean cuisine to exquisite international dishes, catering to every palate. A dip in the hotel's infinity pool is pure bliss, allowing you to admire breathtaking sea views while enjoying the refreshing water.
What's more, the surrounding entertainment facilities are a major highlight. Shinhwa Theme Park and the Water Park are right on its doorstep, ensuring there's something enjoyable for everyone, whether on a family trip or a romantic getaway. Here, every moment is a luxurious indulgence, and every memory created is a cherished part of the journey.
It is located in the middle of the mountain, so it is good for going to Seogwipo, but when it rains or the weather is bad, there is fog, so it can be dangerous for beginner drivers.
There are Grape Hotel, Grape Museum, Dynex Hot Springs, and a swimming pool nearby.
The rooms are spacious, so it is good for families.
Our second stay and I would love to return again
It's basically a honeymoon / baby hotel. Many young couples and families with children under 10. Very calm and peaceful.
Clean, nice, heated pool.
Breakfast could be better, we opted out, but it's still convenient.
The sauna is absolutely wonderful, I really healed my body and soul there.
As for the room type, the last year we stayed in a standard view room. You have to know that there is NO view. It was a ground floor room with all the consequences. We didn't use the balcony at all. This year we chose garden view but got upgraded to a poolside view.
The poolside view honestly made the stay. Choose poolside or at least garden view if you can. Try to stay away from standard view.
There's also this hill suite building, we'll probably try and book a room there next year but we couldn't quite figure out how to use the spa. It wasn't clear if the building has its own spa or some overpass or underpass, or you'd have to walk across the road to the main building.
The beach is 5 minutes away by car and around 30 on foot. There's surfing lessons and surf rentals there, you can rent a chair, an umbrella, a sunbed and a tube.
Also, if you're thinking Lotte because of the closeness to the beach, note that the pedestrian walk to the beach is awful from there. It's 5-10 minutes of stairs.

Facilities: Well-equipped.
Cleanliness: Very clean.
Environment: Beautiful surroundings.
Service: The front desk staff spoke excellent English and were incredibly patient. They always greeted us warmly whenever we encountered them.
We received three complimentary tickets to Shinhwa Theme Park upon check-in, and the kids had a blast.
Being located within the resort complex, it was super convenient for dining, entertainment, and activities. The pool was also quite large.
A taxi from the airport took about 50 minutes and cost around 160 RMB – significantly cheaper than Ctrip's airport transfer service, which was over 400 RMB.
During our 6-day trip to Jeju Island, we stayed at three different hotels, and this one was by far the best, with a very reasonable price.
Very luxurious hotel in a beautiful location near the beach. Everything was great, the room, the view, the pool, the restaurant, it’s expensive but great value compared to other similarly priced hotels I’ve stayed at.
The best choice for seclusion, very quiet and cozy, with only 26 rooms, very private. The service is in place. The 5 o'clock hotel introduction tour was only in Korean, and the hotel service manager tried to introduce it to us in half Korean and half Chinese, which was very touching.
The building itself is very distinctive. Itami Jun's work uses the concept of opening and closing, and the shape and advantages are cleverly used, combining the western scenery with the oriental exquisiteness.
There is a natural hot spring in the room. Breakfast and dinner are good.
The room is huge, clean and has everything you will need. You can ask for a steamer from the housekeeping if you need to steam your clothes. The location is away from everything but very beautiful and quiet. The hotel does not have anyone to help us with the luggage upon checking in and checking out which is weird for a big hotel like this so if you have big luggage you might have to manage it yourself. Onsen is separated male and female and is beautiful but closed early like 8 pm if I'm not wrong wished it was open till much later like 10 pm or 9.30pm at least.
We intentionally booked the hotel in this location, which is surrounded by forest and near to Hallasan!
The hotel owns huge forest walking trail that was beautiful and very healing. The hotel was not very crowded too which helped me to quieten myself and spend some good quality time.
All staff were super assistive and trying to help for all our inquiries. Breakfast was quite plenty, the meal range was also pretty plentiful without lacking anything. We were surprised by the pastry quality!
Only thing we found weird was the swimming cap rental system, which required to borrow and pay 2,000 won every time we go to the pool. Hope it is a one time rental fee.
Overall we had a great time for two nights! Recommend this hotel for those who look for a relaxing and well being time.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Spacious and well well apartment and great pool for the kids to swim. The whole amusement park and shopping mall was not of a lot of interest to us, although we had a good meal at one of the restaurants there. Great to have our rental car parked right outside the apartment, and there is plenty to see and do in the victory. Particularly impressed by the clean and well maintained facilities.
There is a little distance from the city. It is almost attached to the W Hotel. It is a roadway to 1100 Highways, so if you have a plan to move to Seogwipo and Jeju City, it seems to be a good hotel to choose.
The room is spacious and clean. Cleanliness like a hotel is hard to expect due to resort characteristics. Located on the middle of the mountain and there is a merit that you can see rabbits and horses.
I think it would be nice to stay quietly with my family.

Outstanding
GGuest UserThe space is large, the family likes it very much, and the location also makes us feel convenient.
During the period, there was no bath and no hot water supply, and instant reply and assistance were also available.
Would really consider staying again if given the opportunity
GGuest UserI booked because it was close to my business trip. It's a pension. It's not far from the road, but you have to come in. Impression that it is a bit remote. Each room is a private house on the second floor, but the second floor is a bedroom, and the first floor has a toilet and kitchen, but it is not spacious. In the previous review, there is no wifi, but wifi is installed. But there was a lot of dust in the field in front of the hostel, so I couldn't open the window. The bedroom heating was good, but it was too hot, so I turned it off right away.
