24.01.26 I made a reservation for 3 days and 2 nights at a low price based on a recommendation from an acquaintance who said it was good value for money. The outdoor temperature was -2 to 0 degrees, and it was very cold without the boiler in the room running. I said I wasn't feeling well and I didn't want to argue with the hotel, so I couldn't sleep because it was too cold. They said they would cancel and we moved to another hotel. The next day, 24.01.27 The reservation site said I needed to cancel, so I requested cancellation on trip.com, but it was postponed due to lack of communication from the hotel. When I inquired about canceling my reservation on trip.com, the hotel said I would not hear from them and asked me to just wait. 2 days later 24.01.28 I contacted the hotel in a similar manner to the previous day, and they just told me to contact trip.com. trip.com just says the hotel won't approve the cancellation request and tells me to wait. 3 days later 24.01.29 I received an email from trip.com saying they would cancel if I paid the fee for the first night's stay. I thought I had no choice, so I responded to the email saying I would pay the fee. 5 days later 24.01.31 Reservations at Jeju Cordelia Resort cannot be canceled for free. I submitted a free cancellation request to the hotel, but the hotel declined my request and my existing reservation will remain. When I received this email, I called trip.com's customer service center and a counselor contacted me saying they would resubmit my request. 6 days later today 24.02.01 [Hotel Reservation Information] Hotel name: Jeju Cordelia Resort Reservation number: *********** Based on your request, we checked with the hotel to see if cancellation was possible, but we were told that they never agreed to free cancellation and that they only said they would not stay because it was cold after check-in, so it was confirmed that the reservation could not be canceled according to the cancellation/change policy. Please note that as cancellation is not possible, the reservation will remain the same as the existing reservation. I received an email like this... In the end, the hotel refused and said they would not cancel the penalty and maintain the existing reservation. A mistake in making a hotel reservation turned a pleasant trip to Jeju into an experience I would never want to go to again, and trip.com's ambiguous decision to postpone the date In the end, I was angry and felt very disappointed when they informed me that they would not do it, citing the cancellation policy as an excuse. I am writing this review for the first time in my life to avoid ruining your precious travel time due to the incompetent actions of the Cordelia Hotel staff and trip.com. It's very close to the bus station and the transportation is quite convenient. But the view from the room is really amazing. You can watch the sunrise of Chengshan Sunrise Peak directly in the room~ It's a very healing stay experience

The front desk of the hotel is very beautiful. The hotel staff are kind and friendly, and are very proactive in providing assistance. But the room cleaning needs to be improved, hair and cockroaches were found🪳.

Nice room, there is a children's area, a shop. The only thing was that there was no cafe

Be aware of the check-in time, the front desk will not check in before 11am. The room is large, with a bathtub, and the facilities and furniture are old. There is a 711 nearby, which opens at 7am.
