У нас не было выбора, потому что в связи с каникулами все другие отели были забиты. Хочу сразу сказать, что персонал очень старался, но из этого барака нельзя выжать больше, чем есть. Номера очень маленькие, я смотрел даже люксы, но и там места немного. Пришлось согласиться с двумя соединяющимися комнатами. Лифта нет, есть шикарная лестница, словно принесенная из отеля получше. В коридорах жара, потому что кондиционеры выключены в целях экономии. В комнатах кондиционеры пришлось гонять весь день, чтобы они хоть как-то охладили воздух, еле живые. Но это еще ерунда. Самое ужасное - это кровати! Они настолько твердые, как если бы вы лежали просто на фанере. Жена хотела сбежать обратно домой уже после первой же ночи в отеле, но я уговорил ее поменяться кроватями, что, впрочем, мало помогло. В санузле одной комнаты не было горячей воды, а во второй лейка душа была повреждена и брызгала во все стороны. Сотрудник отеля позвонил ночью и предупредил, что мы забыли выключить свет в машине, я вышел и выключил, спасибо ему, иначе бы утром не завел. Парковка была все время забита, и менеджер отеля поставил нашу машину на ВИП место прямо перед входом. Повторюсь - персонал великолепный, добрые и отзывчивые люди, но сам отель очень устал. Найдите другое место, если возможно, за эту цену обычно большой выбор.

Badi'ah Hotel is nothing short of superb! Large, spacious rooms with elegant/warm lighting and tasteful decor and artwork. Rooms were equipped with functional furniture such as a wall desk with a chair, 2 arm chairs, a folding luggage storage rack as well as a large cabinet for luggage storage and clothing. The room also came with an electronic safe, electric kettle, mini fridge, coffee/tea making supplies (Nescafé and milk powder packets, sugar, Lipton tea), 2 glasses, 2 coffee mugs with little stir sticks and bathroom amenities such as bar soap, shampoo, body gel, 2 dental kits and a disposable bag. 2 bottles of water were also provided and were replenished each morning. The bathroom was large and clean with a large western toilet. Shower was enclosed, however, water still floods all over the bathroom floor when showering. On this point, the bathrooms could be improved. The bed was extremely comfortable, but unusually short in length. I am only 5'5” but my feet were hitting the edge of the bed. For anyone taller than 5'5”, I fear your feet may be hanging off the bed? Perhaps this was just the size of the double bed in my room, but I found this peculiar. The room also came with a flatscreen TV, with 9 channels to choose from. Limited, but fine for a few nights. Channel selections included BBC news, Discovery and also a Cinemax movie channel (all in English). There were a couple of other English channels also, but I didn't tune in to these. Channels/TV service cut in and out periodically - loss of service - unsure why, but it was manageable. Wifi signal was exceptionally strong, with a router on each floor and different floor networks to choose from. Very happy! Air conditioning in the room and ventilation both were excellent. Housekeeping was excellent and efficient! They started at a reasonable time and finished very quickly, never missing a beat and generous with replenishing used supplies and toiletries. Rooms were also very clean! There was an electronic pad inside to indicate whether you wanted your room cleaned or to be left be, which I thought was excellent design. Reception and kitchen staff were all amazing! Professional, friendly and welcoming of guests! Always opening the door for incoming and departing guests and happy to service any request with a smile! Staff were superb! My one complaint (other than the flooding shower) would be ants in the room. Unfortunately, this is in most tropical climates, and difficult to control, I understand. They are harmless, but, for sure, an annoyance. The hotel offered free airport pick-up and drop-off which was superb value and very much appreciated! The staff even waited for me despite my flight being delayed over an hour (sorry!). Location of the hotel is perfect! You can walk to all of the major tourist sights, and there are 2 major supermarkets close by, one in the complex just behind the hotel, which was very convenient (it's called First Emporium Supermarket). very upset that my food took way too long to be made. ordered a pasta dish with specific pasta request, at almost thirty minutes of waiting, then the waiter came out telling me they ran out of the pasta i requested. and i waited AGAIN, my food was the last to arrive. very upset. how could the kitchen team hasn’t noticed right away that they ran out of ingredients the second service team told them the orders? furthermore, i didn’t receive any apology concerning about my food. i was told that it was coming in “5/10 minutes”, but nope. didnt arrive as promised. first & last experience at this restaurant. not coming back. imagine, me and my friends were the only customers at the time. how will it be like with several tables? nightmare

We stayed at The Empire overnight in transit to Australia. The buildings alone are incredibly impressive as are the grounds, facilities ( restaurants, cinema, 24 hour cafe) and the amazing pool. The staff are super friendly, efficient and keen to help in any way. Our room was spacious with a great ocean view and the bed was wonderful. We used bikes to explore the property, visited the in house cinema and spent a lazy afternoon by the pool using the kayaks and SUP boards. The grounds are streaming with bird life. We saw sea eagles, kingfishers, parrots and more. We ate in the Pantai restaurant which offered good food at reasonable prices. The downside for us was the buffet breakfast which had a wide selection of food but some of the offerings such as roti, dim sum and curries were already cold and unappetising by 8.00am. Breakfast and airport transit are not included in the room rate so these extras add up making this an expensive option. There are many private beaches on the property but we were told swimming is at your own risk due to the small risk of crocodiles. Overall it was a real experience to stay here!

I stay in this hotel right now when i am writing this review. I was aboard on long flight from jeddah saudi arabia and the travel agent pick this hotel for short stay. The hotel is close to the aiport, i stay in twin bed room and i feel calming when entering t he room. Even the lobby is not too big, but the room is spacy, clean, with minimalist design but still cozy as well. The bathroom also spacious and modern. The electricity socket is for international usage ,(this is very important to me because i forgot my converter). The wifi router also in the room so you dont need to worrying about internet connection. They also having groceries in the same building, very convenient. At first i was underestimate this hotel because the lobby is just small like commonly budget hotel, but the room is satisfying me very much . Definitely will come back here when i have chance to visiting brunai.

Great location with many shopping and eating places within walking distance. Decent selection of local food at the buffet breakfast. Rooms were spacious and clean. Our family of 5 was fortunate to have a complimentary upgrade of one of our rooms to a suite in order to have interconnecting rooms. However, condition of the rooms were quite aged and the aircon temperature cannot be adjusted which made it very cold most of the time. In-room Wi-Fi definitely needs improvement as you have to pull a chair and sit near the room door for a decent signal strength. Overall still a reasonable place to stay.

Good location with the biggest mall connected. Room is big with Brunei traditional style decor. The only thing I would complain is the network is not fast enough that I had to buy some mobile date to be able to work online.

The free transport option offered on arrival at the airport was a very appealing aspect at this hotel and it was seamless when arriving late at night. The city’s roads were deserted so the journey didn’t take long and the welcome from the reception was superb, feeling so friendly and more like arriving into someone’s home than a hotel. It may feel a little tucked away and at times more of a business office location, but it was the ideal spot for a short break in the city and all the main sights are easily walkable. There’s two buildings for the accommodation and mine was on the second floor in the alternative building. There is a decent lift as well as stairs available to use and the room itself was a good enough size. It was a little basic and functional, but with the prices charged I can’t complain. Be sure to close the blind in the shower at night else the glass door allows the morning sun throughout the whole room, but the air-conditioning worked well, there’s plugs by the side of the bed and a decent enough desk for doing any work. The TV was small and there isn’t a huge amount of storage but everywhere at least seemed very clean. Noise from outside was minimal, given the hotel is tucked away in it’s own carpark, although it was possible to hear water running throughout the building from other rooms throughout the night. Breakfast continued the friendly ‘home run’ affair and was quite nice. There’s a decent number of hot dishes on the buffet and the live omelette station is a good touch. Again all the staff are super welcoming and can’t do enough to help. There’s a mix of tables with many suitable for large groups as well. I can’t comment on their evening offering since it was closed for a private function. If you’re looking for the height of luxury and modernness you’ll be disappointed, but for a clean comfortable room, in a great location with welcoming atmosphere, certainly consider it - I will be again and it’s brilliant value.
