"Honestly everything from start to finish was great about this hotel. Employees spoke english, rooms were spacious, nice and modern. Location was in sendai station with malls, food and sightseeing everywhere.
Sendai is also the home of gyutan. Try it, honestly.
If I had something to complain about it would be that one of the 3 elevators only go to the 3rd floor and not 1st."
"The hotel is conveniently located near the station, with a large shopping mall nearby. There is an onsen and a restaurant in the hotel itself, but the breakfast cost more than stated in the description.
The rooms are equipped with a shower, TV, refrigerator, air conditioner, and dehumidifier, and the beds are quite comfortable. Pajamas are provided, and other amenities can be picked up at the reception if needed"
"I had a wonderful stay at Ryokan Tsukasa in Sendai. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel at home right away. My room was beautifully designed in the style of a traditional Japanese house, and I had the unique experience of sleeping on the floor like a true Japanese. I also loved wearing the traditional robe provided in the room — it added an authentic touch to the stay. Everything was perfect, and I would highly recommend this ryokan to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Sendai!"
"I booked my flight and hotel in a hurry this time, and there weren't many options to choose from. Staying on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays is more expensive.
✿Location: At the end of the shopping street, next to the Abe Kamaboko store, about ten minutes from Sendai Station, very convenient.
✿Facilities: Free hot springs are provided♨️, but men and women share the same one, just at different times. If you return to the hotel later, you will miss the hot spring♨️! The hot spring pool and shower room are not big, the smallest part is the place for washing and changing clothes, it will be crowded if there are many people!
✿ Facilities: Free tea and coffee, toiletries, two washing machines, comic books are provided next to the hot spring ♨️ area, and luggage can be stored for free.
✿Room price: HKD 1,136 per person/two nights + one day breakfast
Because we booked the hotel too late, we booked separately, and the price will be cheaper than booking together!
✿Room type: Single room (smoking)
The smoke removal was good, but the wallpaper was peeling, the glass windows were dirty, and there was a big hole in the wall behind the TV with a lot of dust, but fortunately there were no insects!
✿Bathroom: A bit small, but most Japanese hotels are like this
✿Buffet breakfast: Overall it was average. There was Sendai's specialty fish cake, but it was cold. It's better to eat out."
"A nice little hotel, conveniently located near the Sendai Station and is easy to find. The artificial public hot bath, though small, is nice to get rid of fatigue after a day's tour. The breakfast place is a bit small but the food is very nice with sashimi. A bit disappointed though as they didn't serve beef tongue curry (beef curry instead) on the day of my stay, but overall quite a good hotel and will book again if I ever visit Sendai again."
"It was a perfect stay. Everything including amenities, services, beds, facilities was awesome. Room is very clean and new, employees are so kind.
Especially, we had left our belongings in the safe, and realized it after we arrived at tokyo. We made a call to this hotel and the manager handled this situation very professionally!
They made a delivery to tokyo, which arrived early in the next morning, so we are now at narita airport without stopping by sendai again!!
Definitely willing to stay here again if I have a chance to visit sendai again. Thank you so much!"
"We love the location of this hotel, close to all shoppings, foods and Train Station. Great amenities, nice onsen eventhough a bit old style. If we come back to Sendai, we will choose this hotel again. Thanks for the nice stay."
"Хороший отель карманного типа для недолгого пребывания. Есть всё необходимое, чисто, однако очень мало места, учитывайте это при желании заселиться с большим количеством багажа.
Приятные завтраки - часть еды европейского типа, часть японского. В небольшом онсене так же комфортно отдохнуть после дня походов по достопримечательностям. Вывод: хороший стандартный отель - персонал общается на английском."
"Relaxing, clean rooms and beds, welcome sweets in the room, large public bath (for men only) where you can take a leisurely bath in the morning. Ice cream after the sauna, midnight noodles, breakfast is easy to eat in small bowls. At the lobby entrance, there are tables, chairs, and a counter with outlets for when you meet your pick-up, and free coffee and tea are also available. Both Jozenji Street and Sendai Station are within a 10-minute walk. I was very satisfied."

Amazing
IIampareGreat location! Few minutes walk from Sendai station and surround with lots of shops, restaurants and department store. There are 7-eleven and Starbucks at the first floor. The room is very nice. Everything is new, clean, with good space for two 28” luggage to open at the same time and we still can walk around the room. The staffs were so nice and provided prompt support. We found problem about the hair dryer at midnight and the staff changed a new one to us immediately.
There are free amenities that you could pick at lobby.
Highly recommend and would definitely choose this hotel if we have a chance to visit Sendai again 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
__WeChat276406****Facilities: A typical Japanese business hotel. They provide self-service skincare products for guests to choose from, even including face masks and bath salts. The breakfast was fantastic and offered excellent value for money.
Hygiene: Overall decent, but there were some overlooked spots in terms of cleanliness. For stays of three consecutive nights, room cleaning is mandatory, but the cleaning quality was only average.
Environment: The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Sendai Morning Market.
Service: The service was standard, nothing remarkable either way.
GGuest UserThis is my second time at the GranBach and will always be my hotel of choice if I return to Sendai.
The staff are excellent, the hotel is spotless, and the Japanese breakfast is a work of art.
GGuest UserVery considerate equipment and supplies
All the worries about traveling with children are unnecessary!
I was worried that it would be a disaster for me to travel with children for the first time or go abroad
But Richmond gave me great feedback
I thought too much!
Diapers are here! Children's bathtubs are here! There are many more places that are more considerate and thoughtful than mine
I will definitely choose Richmond when I come to Sendai next time!
AAnonymous UserHotel is approx 5 mins walk from Sendai station. Follow west exit. My single room is a bit small but spacious enough for a solo. Room was clean and linen crisp. 1 bottle of water provided each day. Onsen is small with one outdoor. Over my 2-day stay at most I bumped into another person in the onsen. 2 washers and dryers in the onsen facility. Wash is free (30 mins standard) but dryer is charged 100 yen for 20 mins which is enough to 80% dry a small load. Night ramen was delicious and I appreciate the ice cream and Yakult at the onsen. Family mart is 20 steps away. Didn’t try the breakfast. And it’s actually very near the Miyakoh highway bus centre.
GGuest UserAt Breakfast buffet they serve food with all the allergy ingredients but it was not at all clearly mentioned if it has pork or beef or chicken.
Example : there was a potato salad where it says they do not have pork in it but found out that they put pork sausage inside them while eating and they will will let you know after you ask them.
If they would have mentioned clearly it would be better to reconsider when you have allergy issues.
I feel that was poorly organized.
Please be careful with the allergy issues before eating during the breakfast and ask them in details about the ingredients if you feel confused.
PPandaolimingThe hotel is in a great location, with a shopping street just outside. Go left and walk straight along the shopping street to Tohoku University, which has a beautiful environment. The shadow of Mr. Lu Xun is everywhere, with a statue of Lu Xun and a lecture hall, as well as rich historical materials. The room is compactly arranged, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and has a smart toilet. There is even a clothes dryer in the room. It is not far from Sendai Station and can be reached by foot. Sendai Castle is nearby.
Kkoko6688Facilities: Excellent. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean. Environment: Quiet and comfortable. Service: Warm and attentive. Transportation: Extremely convenient. It's very close to Sendai Station, with a wide array of dining and shopping options conveniently located nearby.
DDINGHUAThe location is good. There is a supermarket nearby, which is very convenient. It is not far from the shopping street. But there is no parking lot of its own, so you have to park in a nearby parking lot. The best thing is that there is a 24-hour beverage bar and a microwave.
. The staff was friendly. Disadvantages: The large bathroom is old and dirty. The double room is small, and unlike other small double rooms, the bed is very small, so it is not recommended for two people to sleep in. The room floor didn't feel very clean.
GGuest UserIt was about a 10-minute walk from Sendai Station, so it felt a little far away.
If you use the subway, I think it's convenient because there is a Tozai Line station nearby.
It was also convenient because there was a convenience store nearby.
Unfortunately, the shower curtain was moldy and the bathroom had a slightly moldy smell.
The bed was a triple room, and I was able to sleep soundly until morning without having to fight with my child who usually sleeps with me, so I was very grateful.
The price was reasonable and I was able to relax.
I was interested in the shampoo bar, but I think it would have been more helpful if they had explained it to me at check-in.
I didn't really understand it, so I noticed it at check-out and I was a little disappointed that I didn't want to try it.
Due to my schedule, I only had a room-only plan, but the food looked delicious, so I hope I have the opportunity to stay here again.
