The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from Sendai Station, and there is a convenience store two steps away. Walk a little further to JR Aoba-dori Station. If you want to go to Matsushima, this is the starting station with a seat. And there is a beef tongue chain store Zenjiro 5-10 minutes away. The queue is definitely less than Sendai Station and the station front store! It is also close to the pedestrian street Ichibancho and Nagakecho. It is certain that Japanese hotel rooms are small, and it is difficult for two people to sleep on such a small bed. I don't know why, the floor I stayed in smelled a lot of gasoline. The sound insulation in the room is not good, and I can hear people talking in the corridor. The hotel is standard and the price-performance ratio is still good. One thing to mention is that you have to leave the key at the front desk when you leave the hotel, which is a bit strange, and there will be no identity confirmation when you come back to get the key.

Hotel Keihan Sendai has just opened. I was able to stay at a low price with the combination of Jalan's special opening plan and GOTO. I visited by private car, but there is a parking lot (Hot House Aoba-dori Daiichi Parking) in the basement. 1500 yen per night. Directly connected by elevator. Convenient. The location is next to the 77 Bank head office along Aoba-dori. Check-in is done by yourself on the touch panel and payment is made at the check-in machine. In addition to cash, credit card payment is possible. The room is a single room on the 9th floor. I was able to see Aoba-dori from the window in the corner room. The equipment is also new. The temperature of the lighting and air conditioner can be adjusted in 0.5 degree increments with the tablet at the bedside. The TV is a 43-inch made by Panasonic. You can also see mirroring of smartphones and YouTube. The unit bath is reasonably large. There is a lounge and Starbucks coffee machine on the 2nd floor, which you can get for free. The hotel was perfectly nice for a short stay. It is just over 5 mins walk from JR Sendai station’s West Exit. You need to navigate elevated walkways, walk past a store called “Loft” and walk to the end of the elevated walkway, to a building called “Labi Sendai”. It’s got a Daiso in it. A lift will take you down to street level on the same side of the road as the hotel. I had a single room and it was reasonably spacious. What struck me was how nicely appointed it felt. At the bedside was a small sofa with a table, which was a good place to put all my things and charge my electronic devices. The bed was comfortable for me and the bathroom was fine. The only thing missing in the room was a safe to store my valuables while I was out for the day. I had to lock my laptop in my suitcase.

This hotel is located a short walk from Sendai station, through Parco 2 and down Sendai morning market Street. There were so many food options close by we never had to go far for a delicious feed. The hotel itself has self check in machines that have an English option. They had lots of complimentary amenities on offer in the lobby including different types of teas, skincare products, hair products and bath products. The room itself is your typical business hotel. It was clean, had an all in one bathroom, small desk and air purified and humidifier. The bed was comfy and there was room under the bed to store smaller luggage items. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a convenient budget option

The other hotel I had booked had closed, so I had a room arranged as an alternative. I was surprised to find a higher grade room than the one I had originally reserved. When you enter through the door, there is a hallway, and the toilet, hand washing area, and bath are separate. There was also a door between the main room and the hallway, and an open closet was installed in front of it. I was surprised that the room also had a large washbasin. The furniture was simple but stylish. As soon as we entered the main room, I laughed at the child's remark, ``You can live in it!'', but... that's what the room was like. There was a large public bath on another floor, but the bath in the room was about the size and facilities of a small household, so this was sufficient. As for the amenity goods, each person had to pick up what they needed, but the drink selection was [jasmine tea, hojicha, and green tea]. I wonder if it's a strategy that they don't have regular tea or coffee in the lineup... Because of that, I gave it a 4 for the service only.

The hotel is in a great location, right near the Sendai JR Station, surrounded by business districts, large lofts, parcos, and it is also very convenient to take the loop bus to visit attractions. The room is just too small, and it is a bit difficult to unpack. The room at the Garden Hotel I stayed at the night before was super big, so I was a little disappointed. The facilities are a bit old, but after all, it is cheap, 500 a night, which is a good value for money!

However, the service and ideas made up for the negative aspects, and after staying at the hotel, I felt that it was a great hotel. I would also like to stay at another Dormy Inn. Dormy Inn, which is close to the station, has a paid parking lot, but this one, which is far from the station, has free parking. There are some hotels that charge a fee even though they are far from the station, and I don't stay at those hotels (lol).They don't seem to be trying to provide service that is up to date with the times. For breakfast, there were signs introducing Sendai's specialties, so it was easy to understand and I enjoyed the meal. I also like the taste. Some people said it had a strong flavor, but I think the real pleasure of traveling is enjoying the seasonings tailored to the region. Unfortunately, Sasakama was out of stock 30 minutes after breakfast started. I bought some at the station, but I think it would have been better if I had eaten it for breakfast instead of eating it straight out of the bag. The Yonaki Ramen served in the evening was a simple soy sauce ramen that was delicious. It's exciting to eat together at night.
