Sipadan Kapalai Dive Resort

Had a relaxing 4D3N surrounded with awesome view and lots of turtles and fish could be seen from the chalet.  Resort staff are welcoming, approachable and helpful.  Food provided was pleasantly prepared.   However, the public toilet need thorough cleaning & refurbishment, wifi to be made available, more lighting along all the walkways at night.

I 1. **Overcrowded & Poor Dive Management**      - Some divers complain about too many people on boats, leading to chaotic dive experiences.      - Limited slots for Sipadan Island (which requires a permit), leading to disappointment.   2. **Outdated or Poorly Maintained Facilities**      - Rooms, bathrooms, or dive equipment may be old, broken, or not well-kept.      - Issues with air conditioning, water supply, or cleanliness.   -no comforter on bed 3. **Unprofessional or Rude Staff**      - Some reviewers mention unfriendly or unhelpful staff, especially with last-minute changes or complaints.      - Poor communication regarding dive schedules or safety briefings.   4. **Food Quality & Limited Options**      - Complaints about repetitive, bland, or low-quality meals, especially for the price paid.      - Limited choices for vegetarians or those with dietary restrictions.   5. **High Prices for Mediocre Service**      - Some guests feel the resort is overpriced compared to other options in Mabul or Sipadan.      - Extra charges for equipment rental or unexpected fees.   6. **Environmental Concerns**      - Poor waste management or irresponsible diving practices harming coral reefs.

nobody answer the hotel phone and there is no way to reach this hotel accept through Trip. Not user friendly. we have made some wrong booking due to flight schedule issue. have tried to call many times to modify our date of stay but nobody answer our call. finally trip replied we cannot modify the date. this is very bad management as it is no last minute change, at least 5 days before the actual date. we have to scramble to reschedule our flight. very bad experience.

Wonderfoul, but is unaceptable that there isnt signal or wifi in the room

Resort on water, love every bit of it. Food is good too.
