1. Language barrier as restaurant staff did not know how to speak in english.
2. Tea time was included in the package, yet no tea or coffee could be provided unless extra payment is done.
3. Arrived 5 mins late for tea time and no dessert was provided as per package.
4. No choice of European dishes.
5. Very dangerous walkway, needs maintenance.

Sadly, this place didn't meet my expectations. The walkway out to the hotel (approx 300 metres) is very dodgy and not maintained, with no hand rail.
There was limited information on arrival.
The restaurant doesn't have a menu so you can't select what you like (difficult for vegetarians). Although the chef was lovely & very helpful with our requests.
I don't think it's worth the money we paid.

A very cozy and quiet water house. You can snorkel. There are staff to ensure safety during snorkeling. You can see corals, various fish, starfish and sea cucumbers. There are also many sea urchins, but you must stay away from them and you can't catch them even if you wear gloves. Breakfast, afternoon tea and buffet dinner are provided. The staff are very nice. There are staff to carry luggage when you check in and check out. If you don't stay on the island, I recommend staying here. It is a 20-minute drive from Semporna town, which is much better than the dirty town.
