Hampton Inn & Suites Largo

The afternoon we checked in, I discovered a "wad" of hair (human) in the desk chair; it looked like someone had cut off a ponytail and left it there....where was Housekeeping? Then the next day I woke up with what I thought were mosquito bites. It turns out that the prior people using the room had a dog (or dogs?) and the room was never sanitized so I ended up with flea bites. Big deal...they comped us one of the 2 nights we stayed there. DON'T EVER STAY HERE IF THIS IS THEIR IDEA OF HOUSEKEEPING.

First time staying here, everything was great. Prompt service when asked. Great room size and clean. Definitely coming back again for future work trips.

The staff was very nice. Specially Eileen was very pleasant and helpful. She was very professional and polite. But the only thing was that when we come back from the beach our room was not clean. And we had to call from desk for towels

We didn’t get the room we reserved. I called twice to confirm larger room with roll away and they gave our room to someone else earlier that day and some of us slept on the floor. Also our room was not locked - door was standing open when we arrived. Very disappointing. Best part of the stay was Dennis the hotel clerk when we checked in was amazing!!!!!!

This is a mediocre hotel. The pros: super friendly staff & it’s close to the PIE airport. They don’t have a bar or restaurant but there are some seltzers & beer you can buy from their cooler. The cons: no airport shuttle; the shampoo dispenser in our shower was empty which I didn’t notice until I’d hopped in the shower. You would think housekeeping would check for that. Only 2 towels provided for 2 adults. I think most of the time with 2 people a girl is going to be staying there so 3 towels would have been nice, so I could’ve had one for my hair. The blanket on the bed was thin, so a heavier blanket would’ve been nice and/or an extra blanket stored in the closet to have as an option. There was a constant dripping noise that kept us up all night. My sister stayed 2 rooms down & they said they had the same dripping noise thing. All in all it’s a pretty bare minimum hotel - gets the basic job done.

Everything was good except that the surrounding area was heavily trafficked and not pedestrian-friendly

Was cleaning comfortable and very friendly. Everything we needed. We had an very early flight and I was happy to see that there was coffee in the lobby. Thank you.

Breakfast staff were working hard and it was good. Close enough to some restaurants you can walk to them Clean, no issues with room or facilities

They gave me water and cookies in a welcome bag. Never had that before, so hospitable!
