Finca Albellons

What can I say apart from this was one of the most relaxing places I've ever stayed. The location, food and general ambience made you feel like you were in your own little mountain bubble. Lovely breakfast and dinner every day with a fresh menu. The pool setting is glorious. Definitely recommend if you want a chilled break in Mallorca. We hired a car so a good location to see the north and east of the island also.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights from 5th July to the 9th. The hotel is absolutely stunning and photos do not do the views justice! The hotel has 16 rooms and is quiet and romantic. We had a suite which was very spacious and beautiful views from the terrace. Everything has been immaculately refurbished with a modern touch but maintaining the hotels character. The one thing we would have changed was the aircon which was motion sensored. We woke every 2-3 hours to switch it back on over two nights but spoke to reception who managed to sort the issue. We had dinner every night at the hotel which was €35 for a 3 course set menu with two mains to choose from at breakfast. It was some of the best food we ate on the island. So fresh and beautifully presented. Breakfast had a wide spread and great value at €15pp. Big thank you to Mark on reception who couldnt have done more for us. Daniel & Synthia who went above and beyond to ensure we were happy at dinner. Its lovely the hotel is run by family and friends who genuinely care. The pool was great, very clean with lovely bali beds. The sound of the mountain goats bells and crickets was lovely and very relaxing. Tip - the nearest supermarket is about 20minutes drive so would recommend getting any necessary bits before arriving! Overall a fantastic stay, thank you so much Finca Albellons. We will return!

It is now the third year in a row that we are holidaying at Finca Albellons, and it is no coincident. The standard is the same year after year. Beautiful rooms, clean everywhere, high quality in the kitchen and the friendliest and most competent attitude of the entire staff. You can really feel that Finca Albellons is family-owned, and that both the second and third generations of the family have the same sense of quality and ambitions for the place. As a keen cyclist, Finca Albellons is ideally located for a cycling holiday in Majorca, and the place provides quality bikes waiting for you when you arrive. Whether you're looking for a romantic, relaxing or activity holiday in beautiful and quiet surroundings with great food - don't miss this place. You won't regret it for sure!

Our whole family really loved our stay here. My parents were already coming back for the third time and my brother and I were instantly convinced as well. The hotel is beautifully located in the mountains, the views from the terrace and the pool are stunning and all you hear for most part of the day is a few "baas" from the sheep and cicadas. The pool is relatively small but completely sufficient to cool off from the heat plus there are great sunbeds to relax on. The whole area of the hotel is very beautiful and has a very calm atmosphere. Having breakfast or dinner on the terrace with torches and a view into the valley is a dream. The staff were all super friendly and happy to help. The food is delicious and quite versatile (I am a *very* picky eater and almost always liked everything and otherwise could get an alternative option). The rooms are simple in terms of furniture, super clean, air conditioned, and the beds are quite large (even for German standards). An additional table to put things on would have been useful but it wasn't a big issue. All in all a wonderful and very relaxing vacation :)

Beautiful, family run hotel, with a delightful location amongst the olive tree terraces and with wonderful views of the Tramuntana mountains and across the island. Luxurious, spacious rooms. Excellent Mallorcean food. Relaxed and quiet with professional, friendly service. Superb pool area, and garden . Less than half an hour to Puerta de Pollenca. In tranquil countryside, this hotel is definitely one of the top 10 quality rustic hotels on this beautiful island. A great base to explore the North Coast, for cycling, walking and visiting numerous towns and villages in the heart of the Mallorca.

Nestled in the Serra de Tramuntana mountains we were greeted by friendly front of house staff and taken personally to our room. The hotel is rustic with some modern twists. The bathrooms are spacious and modernised as is the pool area. We opted for a superior room with terrace balcony and it was definitely worth requesting a room with the best views of the mountains. Breakfast was delightful, very European but fresh. Accommodation is simple and rustic. Beds not the comfiest but the views from the veranda and bathroom areas are stunning. A complimentary bottle of wine but no drinking water. Bit of a surprise and a costly expense having not being warned prior to arriving as they charge €3.50 for a bottle of water. (Be sure to stop off at a convenience store and stock up before you arrive). Same for hot drinks. No kettle in room and charged $2.50 for a cup of hot water with a low quality teabag. Allow plenty of notice to book taxis and always ask the hotel to book the return else you can be left stranded for hours. The local taxi companies do not answer their phone lines. Pre-selected 4 course dinner can be offered at an extra cost which was delightful. Compliments to the chefs, the food was beautiful. Pros - The views. - Cabanas at the poolside and on the room’s veranda made chilling that little bit more luxurious. - Immaculately clean rooms. - Great staff throughout. - Late check out. Cons - No drinking amenities in rooms. - No complimentary drinking water. - Taxi services are very hard to come by and often run late so be sure to allow plenty of time for travelling if you haven’t hired a car. - Beds not the comfiest. - No way of telling cleaning staff when you are ready to have your room cleaned. On several occasions we were only heading down to breakfast and they were already jumping in to clean the room when hadn’t vacated properly for the day ahead. Overall we loved our stay and would return.
