Hotel Somont

We really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel is towards the top of the village about 3 minutes walk to the centre. Good parking some under cover. Staff are a credit to the hotel, we were treated kindly and helpfully at all times. Thank you. Public rooms being a bar/lounge and dining room are very nice. Ski room is clean and modern. Access to the ski slopes is fantastic, right outside the door, ski in ski out. The spa area is pretty good although I didn't use it. Our three rooms were very similar. It's a 3/4 star standard. Very clean and all usual amenities. Bathrooms in good order, but beginning to look little dated. If I have one problem and it's only a small problem, the soundproofing between the rooms could be a lot better...my friends experience was identical. I would happily stay here anytime..

I absolutely loved my stay at the property! The property itself was beautiful and charming. The location was perfect, close to town and amenities and easily accessible for all of the areas I wanted to visit, yet nestled in a peaceful area. The room was incredibly comfortable, and well equipped. Everything was spotless, and I could tell that cleanliness was a top priority. The amenities were good especially the breakfast options, which added so much value to my stay. But what really stood out was the exceptional service—the staff were so friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Following issues with a delayed flight and travel to the hotel, we were helped immensely by the most kind and lovely host/staff member, who couldn’t have helped us more and accommodated our late/early morning arrival; which we were extremely grateful for. The overall atmosphere was warm and inviting, making my experience truly unforgettable. I can’t wait to come back and highly recommend.

This is our favorite hotel in selva - and maybe in all wintersport resorts in europe. Super nice family (owned) hotel with great staff and brilliant food. The location is immediately on a connecting slope - and you enter by elevator. This is absolutely superb - and the food and wine list amasing. Been there 4 years in a row and never bores. Narena is the best host ever

Excellent hotel and wonderful food! Highly recommend. All staff so helpful and friendly, they made our holiday so much more enjoyable. The restaurant staff were lovely and attentive - thank you for making our first trip to the Dolomites a memorable one! Thank you too Rosie for your help, advice and attention to detail on our sightseeing trips, it proved invaluable and made all the difference. The hotel has an excellent team - keep up the good work!!

My wife and I recently spent 5 nights at this friendly, charming hotel. Each day we hiked the Dolomites and appreciated the hotel's easy access to cable cars, bus lines and trails. We chose the half-board option and were rewarded with full breakfasts along with multiple choices for our 5-course evening meals. This option provided convenience and tremendous value. The chef's creative presentation of each course was always fun to anticipate. After dinner we strolled into town followed by delicious digestifs back in the cozy lounge area at the hotel. Contributing to our overall positive experience at The Somont was Rosy, with her warm smile as she welcomed us back or wished us well as we ended our day - she even took the initiative to provide us with new ping pong paddles. Heading up the efficient, professional staff is their ever-present leader, Lorena. She's a gem and certainly contributed to our thoroughly pleasant stay

We had a wonderful week, the skiers and the grandparents baby sitting . It is a ski in ski out, and the children came out of the elevator put their skis on and off they went to the champinoi gondola down the road. They both loved the skiing. The hotel rooms were big (upgraded rooms) very clean, nice white bedding , good bathroom with a great view of the gondola going up and down. Bath robes and good quality slippers ideal for the swimming pool. The swimming pool is warm, at a perfect temperature. It is very unpleasant when swimming pools are freezing. Nice jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast is excellent and so is supper . You choose your menu at breakfast time. Lorena and her team work hard and everything runs like clockwork. The young lad (Spanish speaking) was very helpful with the weighing of our 8 suitcases to comply withTitan’s allowance. The ski school for kids is not very near the hotel . You would need to organize transfer if you do not have a car. Finally, we would come back in a heartbeat, just a perfect skiing place. Per Lorena e le ragazze un bacino e un buon giorno da Maxi.
