Nice and spacious room. Check in counter at level 7. There is Carpark slot for hotel guest at level 6. Enter to carpark using Touch n Go card. Per exit is RM6 and need to bring the card to reception to scan before you exit the carpark. Overall clean room.

I booked two rooms. One with a king sized bed and one with twin beds. The King sized room had an unpleasant view of a rooftop but the twin room had a good view that faced the swimming pool and highway. The beds were comfy and the water pressure of the shower head was very relaxing. Overall ,the hotel experience was very good 👍 It is very convenient for those who like to shop and eat as it is connected to Paradigm mall. We enjoyed staying there and will be back again ☺️

My third time here, had a great stay. Next to shopping mall with restaurants and shops. Will come again.

I recently returned to Hyatt Place Johor Bahru for a second time on a business trip. Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to all the staff for their warm and generous hospitality, especially for the welcoming smiles throughout my stay, from housekeeping to the front desk and waitstaff. Thank you, and please keep up the excellent work. Regarding the room, I encountered a serious issue with the bathroom drainage. From the day I checked in, the drain was clogged, and within a few minutes of bathing, the bathroom would flood, with water seeping through the bathroom door. I suggest regular checks and maintenance to prevent such problems in the future. Additionally, I found the breakfast options to be quite limited. It would be beneficial to offer a wider variety to cater to different preferences and dietary needs. However, I had a deeply disappointing experience with one of the staff, possibly a member of the higher management team. While waiting for my food in the lobby after a long day of work, I felt distinctly unwelcome due to certain expressions from this individual, which made me feel judged. This was particularly unsettling given that the person had been friendly with other guests earlier. The following morning, after breakfast, I happened to share an elevator with this person and once again received a dismissive and disrespectful response, without a smile or simple greeting, unlike the interactions I had with the regular staff. This encounter was not only disappointing but also felt preferential. While I will take this unfriendly response lightly for now and assume this person was busy, it raises serious concerns about whether Hyatt has a disparity in service based on staff levels. I wonder if it is acceptable for higher authority personnel to treat guests with bias based on their appearance or assumptions. I believe in equal leadership and the importance of being a good role model, which should be upheld by Hyatt. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed promptly. Thank you.

A great and Nice hotel. I booked King suit room. Very big room with big sofa and King Size bed. Toilet also big. But the pillow very Soft and got sour smell. Breakfast nice but limited food. Hotel price not expensive still ok. Hotel Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice to stay the hotel

We gotten a broken toilet seat room.Nightmare due to lights at corridor and room went off when called the reception no one came over to do and whole night the old lady and handicapped suffered. If anything were to happen the hotel was responsible. Lift is too slow that people fighting in lift over for space constrain. Didn't take breakfast as I saw review that it wasn't nice. Getting to check in was a little troublesome as the carpark was a little confusing and we had to park at level 6 then take a lift to level 7 for check in. As we booked the room without hotel, the staff offered us "special rates" of rm50/pax if we were to confirm 1 day in advance. The breakfast was ok but not much variety. Like what other guests mentioned, they had the orange juice machine which u can make your own freshly juiced juice. There are only 3 lifts and they are a little slow (mayb i am impatient). Room service was very prompt. Water pressure was a little low probably becos i was located on level 19, hope they can improve the water pressure! Overall a great experience.

Location and Accessibility: Located conveniently adjacent to Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru, the hotel offers easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment options, making it a great choice for travelers. Check-in Experience: Check-in was smooth, and the staff were welcoming and efficient. We opted for connected rooms but were informed that pool view rooms do not have this option, so we settled for rooms without a view to accommodate our preference. Rooms: The hotel is new and impressively clean. Our rooms, though not with pool views as desired, were comfortable and well-maintained, offering a pleasant stay experience. Power Outage Incident: Unfortunately, one night experienced a power trip, resulting in a temporary loss of electricity and lighting in our rooms. Breakfast: The breakfast provided was simple with limited variety and average taste. While sufficient, it did not meet expectations compared to other Hyatt properties or similar establishments. Service and Facilities: Service throughout our stay was generally good, with staff members being courteous and responsive. The hotel facilities, including the pool and fitness center, were clean and enjoyable. Overall Impression: Hyatt Place Johor Bahru Paradigm Mall is a promising new addition to Johor Bahru's hotel scene, offering clean accommodations and convenient access to shopping. However, improvements are needed in breakfast variety and quality assurance to elevate the guest experience.

a short 1 night stay. the room is spacious, neat and clean. i’ve booked the room with the king bed and there’s also a sofa long enough to be changed to a sofa bed. there’s still space for a rollaway bed if you require. great location as the hotel is linked to the mall hence it’s really convenient. 👍🏻

Had a pleasant stay at Hyatt Place Johor Bahru Paradigm Mall. Initially on our first day, there was an unpleasant smell in the shower area but the staff was efficient and able to rectify the matter promptly. Thank you. The room was relatively spacious, neat and clean. No bathrobe provided but we are fine with it. The air-con was not very cold in our opinion despite setting it to the lowest temp but still comfortable. As for the staff, they are nice, efficient and always with smiles. Thank you for making us feel welcomed throughout our stay at the hotel.

The room is big with a sofa bed. Plenty of of space. The room and bathroom is tip top condition. The gum and pool is well maintained and clean. 👍👍👍. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Good breakfast buffet. The hotel is linked with the shopping mall. The shopping mall operated from 10am to 10pm, with plenty of choices from food, clothes, massages, accessories shops and many others. However, within the vicinity there is any much. Hence, you needed to drive out. As the hotel is located beside the busy road, sometimes you may heard motorist car noise even the room is sound proof. Overall, is good stay.

Special shout-out to the front desk Officer Afiqah who provided great customer service - very pleasant and approachable. Hotel is very new and the decor was on point. Room was exactly as photo - spacious and clean. The small living room area with sofa and table was great for dining in. Only drawback was the lack of view but it was no biggie. The direct link to Paradigm mall was very convenient.

Nice hotel! Booked this hotel because St. Giles was fully booked but I actually prefer Hyatt Place after comparing the two! The room was bigger and better maintained and had very pleasant experience with all the staff during my stay there. The only down side was the location, it is further from the custom and the usual places like KSL and City Square Mall. If that wasn’t an issue then I’ll highly recommend Hyatt Place.
