"I'm a Japanese person living in Singapore. I've never stayed in such a wonderful hotel! 😆✨ The rooms, service, facilities, and activities are all absolutely amazing! There are various activities available every three hours during the day! I tried yoga, which was authentic and incredibly fun! ♪ The food is also amazing. I highly recommend the tuna fillet and king brown mushroom at ISLAND KITCHEN. 💛 The entire island is part of this hotel, and Wi-Fi is available everywhere! Also, the free sauna is fantastic! 🏝️ The sauna is located inside the spa, but it takes about 30 minutes to set up, so you need to call to reserve, letting us know the time and number of people. 😆 Every single staff member is so kind, courteous, and warm. ☺️ There was one male staff member who spoke fluent Japanese. ♪ What do you do when you're unsure? ”Thank you so much!” they said to me. 😆😆🫶 Personally, I loved the spa staff. ✨ They were so kind and didn't give a damn, even though we'd been using the sauna multiple times. 🥰 Thank you so much. One thing to note: I came directly from Singapore to this island, so I figured I wouldn't need much cash and brought very little with me. 😭 I needed to pay in cash for the return boat and my arrival visa! If there weren't any issues with the boat or the arrival visa, I don't think you'd need to exchange Indonesian rupiah. ✨ I caused the staff a lot of trouble for the return boat. 🥲 But thank you so much for your kind hospitality! I booked the three-meal plan, but I was able to choose an appetizer, main course, and dessert from Island Kitchen's regular menu. 😎☀️ If you're a light eater, just getting breakfast might be enough. ♪ As for the electrical outlets, they were compatible with any country's electrical outlet. 😆👍👍 I plan to stay here every time I celebrate my birthday. ☺️☺️💛"

"Very relaxing resort with cozy villas. Superb place to enjoy the beautiful sunset while having drinks or dinner. Nice swimming pool for a dip. Breakfast spread was alright. Food at the hotel cafe and restaurant taste good. Only complaint is that the room sound proofing was not satisfactory."

"Stayed the the resort for 4 days, the staff were super friendly and helpful. On the last day they granted us an extra one hour to check out. The massages offered were phenomenal, would definitely come back again for those. However, the hotel might be slightly run down in some places. The amenities looked good but the swimming pool water pumps were not on causing the temperature to be very centralised in some areas and a lot of debris to build up. Moreover, the hotel location was not very suited for my family as we had initially wanted to go to the different beaches. We ended up taking a 40 minute taxi to different places everyday, once even going to the other Harris hotel in Barelang. Overall, the staff was amazing but the other aspects were average. Would recommend this hotel for people who are just looking for an escape from busy life and planning to stay in the hotel."

"Our stay at Holiday Inn Resort Batam was lovely-peaceful and made special by the **exceptional staff** . Thank you to the receptionist for alerting us about a forgotten food package, engineering for quickly fixing our bathroom door, housekeeping for daily tidying and sweet towel toys for my daughter, and the restaurant manager for the thoughtful honey lemon drink. While the building feels a bit dated, the **genuine hospitality** here shines brighter. Highly recommend for families seeking a relaxing getaway!"
