This is a "bad" type of Mariott hotels. Our room was not ready by the time of our check-in (at around 20.30pm). We have our breakfast included in the rate but were not able to use it because of the long waiting lines (at 8.30am in the morning!). Since the location is around nowhere (Sejong is the newly-built and empty ghost town for bureaucrats) you have essentially nothing to do around. Only serves as a back-up solution if everything in Daejong is sold out on your dates.

I was quite astonished when seeing their warm welcome words on the mirror! In view of this, I replied them on the mirror, too. Let me repeat here what I’d written to them.
Thanks to the night shift staff of 1/11 made me a detailed map.
Thanks to the Front Desk in answering my many questions.
Thanks to the Housekeeper made me feel comfortable.
All are very thoughtful and leave me an unexpected moment in Sejong.

I didn't expect much, and the hotel I booked for the first time was very clean and nice. I liked the hotel lobby, and the friendly explanation of directions and even the service of storing cakes were great. I had a comfortable stay with my family. The lake view was so nice~ I couldn't stop looking at it. If I have another chance, I will visit again. Satisfaction rating is ☆☆☆☆☆ stars. @.@ /

I often visit Daejeon, so I was looking for Onoma, and I chose the nearby Saejongsi for a complete rest on the weekend. I had been meaning to visit since it opened two years ago, and since the surrounding office buildings were quiet on the weekend, my family had a great night’s rest in the suite. The front desk staff were friendly, there were good restaurants nearby, and the park was a good course for a walk. The only regret is that the hotel does not have a sauna, pool, or deli. I would visit again.
