Alma de Sedona Inn was a perfect getaway spot for me and my husband. We loved the quiet, serene atmosphere the Inn offered along with the breathtaking views of scenic Sedona. Breakfast was an excellent way to start the day and the accommodations were well kept and inviting. We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you for a great weekend.

Great location on hilltop. Scenic views. Close to hiking and eats. Staff is friendly and professional. Complementary Breakfast a big plus. Room is a bit outdated. Housekeeping on time and did a good job. The only issue is that the pool was not working during our 4 night stay. It pool would be nice after days of long hikes and hot sunny days. We emailed staff days before arrival asking if pool was operational. No response. Was told at arrival that pool is not working. If we wanted to use the pool, we had to go down the street and use another hotel pool at a price of $25/person. But we will be reimbursed. So if pool is your thing, ask before you arrive.

We had a wonderful stay at the Alma de Sedona Inn. Our room ( desert dreams) was charming, clean , and spacious. Perfect amenities including a fireplace , view of thunder mountain from the bed and the shower, walk in closet, jetted hot tub, and a very comfortable bed and pillows. We took advantage of all the amenities to have rest and relaxation after our days of hiking. The breakfasts each morning were unique and delicious and they were very accommodating to special requests. We sat by the poolside after a day of hiking and it was very refreshing. The area was so tranquil and quiet and we loved being in West Sedona away from the more crowded downtown area. We were here in mid May and the weather was magnificent in the 70s each day. We hope to return to Sedona again one day as it was an amazing place to explore. We would definitely stay at this Inn again and will be recommending it to our friends.

This inn was extremely comfortable with a large room and sliding glass doors to a deck looking at Thunder Mountain. The room also had a whirlpool tub which was great after a long hike. The breakfasts were delicious- blueberry brioche French toast one day and an omelette another. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast area and common room was attractively decorated. There was a nice looking pool which we didn’t use. The location in West Sedona was great. Close enough to good restaurants and trails but in a nice quiet neighborhood and away from the craziness of the downtown. Our last day the innkeeper provided a to go breakfast as we left at 4 am for an early flight out of Phoenix.

The innkeepers were friendly, informative and took pride in every aspect of our stay. Great location. Rooms were decorated beautifully and had charming patios just perfect for winding down after a long hike. Delicious breakfast. This is an Inn we will return to again and again.

This beautiful boutique hotel is just off the main drag in West Sedona, which for us was the best of both worlds. It was very quiet and peaceful, yet close to al the restaurants and shops in Sedona. Also, very near to trailheads. The view from our balcony in the "Far Pavilion" room was breathtaking. The breakfast each of our 3 mornings was delicious, and was included in the price. There are also goodies and coffee in the afternoon in the lodge, where breakfast and the innkeepers are. There are no elevators, but just one flight up to the upstairs suites. I think the upstairs rooms had the best views. Mattress was quite squishy; a little too soft or me, but that's my personal preference

Alma de Sedona is a well placed Inn on the outskirts of Sedona but has easy access to most anything you may be interested in locally. The innkeeper was very knowledgeable and helpful and gave us great advice and tips including how to get to the trails to see the sunset from the nearby trails which were also great and we only had 15 minutes to make it and we did!!!!. The view of the mountain from our room was spectacular and the room was nice, quiet, comfortable and clean. It was still chilly when we were there so the fireplace was cozy and wonderful. We only stayed one night but got to enjoy the delicious breakfast and talk amongst the other guests and staff regarding local hiking trails. We got our best tips from them. A lot of trails are crowded and we got a tip from the local outdoor shop Canyon Outfitters to hike the Doe Mountain Trail and it was spectacular. The Chapel of the Holy Cross was also a wonderful site to see. Advise, go early and at the bottom and walk if you can. Creekside was also a great restaurant in the area.

A cross between a bed & breakfast and a boutique hotel, Alma de Sedona has a lot going for it. It's location is in a residential neighborhood in West Sedona, offering a respite from the sometimes overwhelming hoard of tourists and traffic in the main part of Sedona. The grounds are large and beautiful, with interesting features like the Medicine Wheel and spectacular views. The common room, where breakfast is served, is spacious and inviting. The breakfast is very good. They have a great chef who makes a different cooked to order 2 course breakfast each morning. The innkeepers, who appear to be a married couple, are friendly, helpful and genuinely try to make guests feel coddled. So I want to love Alma de Sedona, but I just can't. This is my second visit in 6 years and it doesn't look like they've done any updating to the rooms themselves in that time. The wood furniture looks worn and scratchy. The walls could use a new coat of paint. The carpet has seen better days. The bathroom though is gorgeous with designer tilework, a separate shower and whirlpool tub and two sinks for couples. You'd think with 2 sinks they would have 2 hand towel racks, but they don't. In fact they could use another hand towel rack and bath towel rack along with a hook on the back of the door. Also better lighting. I have a pet peeve about hotel rooms that use such low wattage light bulbs that its hard to see anything in the room after dark. This place has that problem. While some are low wattage LED bulbs, several are the really old curly fluorescent bulbs that made the lighting in the rooms even worse, especially in the closet. The other problem with the rooms is lack of storage space. There are no drawers or shelf space to put any clothes or other items a traveler may have. There is a small walk-in closet that's stuffed with bathrobes, extra pillows and blankets, but not much room for clothes. The very small flat screen TV is deep inside an old armoire. Kind of like the set up they used to store TV's when they had big picture tubes. A huge improvement the owners could make is to replace the old armoires with dressers and put a new larger TV on top of the dresser. That would provide storage drawers for guests and make the TV easier to see from different angles in the room. This place could be great if the owners would just do some updating to the rooms. Not sure if I'll be back in Sedona anytime soon, but probably wouldn't stay here again unless I was sure there had been improvements to the rooms.

Check in went really smooth even though we were late arrivals. Fred came doing immediately and got us checked in. Breakfast were all beautifully presented and delicious. The accommodations were typical Sedona and our location couldn’t be better.
