We booked through ******* and a few things were off:
1. the residents inn did not select for us the room we wanted that had the big tub we wanted for our romantic night.
2. they charge you $18/per night for parking and it isn’t transparent when booking. It should be added in the total, instead, at check-in they get your card info and keep $100 on hold for damages , but did not tell us they are keeping $49 of that for the two day parking and an additional service fee of almost $10 , plus "tax.” Very inconvenient, wrong, and misleading in terms of what we thought we would pay for our total visit.
3. Staff is not friendly. They speak two words and don’t explain to you anything you are doing that takes your money , for example: the weird lady said "this is for incidentals,” (referring to the $100 hold), she did not explain it was for the parking and service as well. So in my mind i think i’m getting my $100 back later , but it’s actually coming back as $50 after all these hidden fees. She, nor any other staff, greet or make the guests feel welcome at all. We are literally just a number to them. 1 STARRRRRR
