Cleanliness: Cabins are generally clean and well-maintained, with regular upkeep. However, some guests noted occasional issues like skunk odor in specific cabins, which may affect the overall experience for a few visitors.

This charming inn is perfectly located between the scenic drive from Flagstaff to Sedona, set in a quiet, lush, natural setting along Oak Creek. The property feels like a hidden sanctuary—alive with birds, sheep, and deer wandering nearby. Our cabin was quaint, clean, and reasonably priced, with a comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The shower was on the smaller side, so next time we’ll opt for a larger room. Everyone we met was mostly friendly, and Cassidy stood out as exceptionally helpful—she sent us a detailed email full of wonderful suggestions on where to eat, explore, and hike. Breakfast in the main office building was lovely and a perfect way to begin the day. We highly recommend the 90-minute creekside massages—an absolute must after a day of hiking or fly-fishing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Thank you, Briar Patch Inn, for such a peaceful and memorable experience.

Always a very special experience, in every way: your cabin, the natural creekside environment, the flowing stream lulling you to sleep, the professional service from staff and their so-friendly, helpful attitude. When staying in Sedona, select the Briar Patch!

We have visited this unique gem once or twice a year for over a decade. Each time we feel like we've felt like we strolled into our own secret garden. The look of natural stove walls, flowing vines, towering shade trees and the overall garden vibe brings instant calm. It feels so quiet, but the sound of birds, the rustling of leaves in the breeze and Oak Creek rumbling over rocks and logs fill the air. From the initial kind greeting to the morning breakfasts provided creek side and friendly waves from property staff, the friendly helpful culture makes our stays that much more enjoyable. We look forward to our many future stays at this unique gem in our state.

Our recent stay at Briar Patch Inn was fabulous—cozy, romantic, peaceful. Comfortable cabin with homey touches. Breakfast was consistently delicious and plentiful. Set along the creek, many walking paths to enjoy the magnificent Sycamores, my husband enjoyed a couple of dips at the swimming hole!! The staff were super-attentive, housekeeping each day included setting up the fireplace for a real wood- burning fire. We look forward to another trip to the Briar Patch inn.

We stayed at this top rated bed and breakfast, top priced cabin for 4 nights. Shower doesn't work upon arrival. Diverter is frozen shut or corroded.  Innkeeper says can't switch cabins since ours is the best and available ones are cheaper (?). Innkeeper says maintenance will fix it tomorrow but we have plans for the day. My husband fixes it temporarily in a half hour. After dinner, we light the fireplace and the room fills with smoke and the smoke detector goes off. So we open the doors and windows which isn't helping us keep warm. Pouring down rain 50 degrees. Maintenance man says the fireplace flue was partially closed even though the instructions state they are wired open.  Both the shower and fireplace problems should have been identified and resolved unless the cabin was unoccupied for a long time. Deferred maintenance. 2 small coffee packets for the morning (1 mug each) and we have to drive into town the next morning for coffee.  We realized we were given the wrong cabin key at check in so we can't lock the cabin.  Exiting the inn onto 89 is dangerous. The inns roadside sign blocks visibility to traffic coming around the curve. We decided to drive north to the Indian Cafe to avoid crossing both lanes of traffic every time we left the inn. It certainly wasn't what we expected for over $600 per night. We'll stay elsewhere on our next trip to Sedona  Donna and Brett Weeks  Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Gorgeous grounds, just stunning location. We were in the Kingfisher right on the creek, which was nice to be away from the noise of the street. The office/breakfast area was beautiful and peaceful, basically a library. Two things that could be improved upon: the mattress felt a little too used and sagged in places. And the breakfast coffee was terrible. I mean really un-drinkable, and that’s saying a lot. We would love to return but please up your coffee game!! I felt the value for the price could be improved.

Stayed in the Kingfisher cabin. It was wonderful to wake up hearing the babbling Oak creek and come home after a long hike to a cozy fire. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade breads and treats. If you have time enjoy a creek side massage and leave your worries behind.

My friend and I are returning visitors and we LOVE Briar Patch Inn. We find staying there to be very relaxing and private. The breakfast is wonderful especially when seated outside by the river. The staff recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner. Thank You! We enjoyed watching several deer feed just outside our door!
