Aiden by Best Western @ Sedona

West Sedona|2.31km from Coffee Pot Rock
I stayed at the Andante Inn the last week of September 2022 and I am so happy I decided on this place! It is super convenient, right on 89A only minutes to Uptown Sedona and other great attractions. Not too big and not too small, and the rates are pretty competitive to other places in the area, considering how close it is to the heart of Sedona. There is also everything else you could possibly need nearby right on 89A (restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, etc.), and considering it's off of a busy street, the hotel is pretty quiet and the grounds are well-kept and peaceful. The staff was very nice, professional, and helpful (Ivan, especially, was pleasure to deal with)! The room itself was so comfortable and charming - I really felt at home for the week I stayed there. Had a WONDERFUL view of the mountains right outside the balcony doors and the room was in PRISTINE shape - clean, modern furniture/fixtures, every type of pillow one could possibly need, and probably one of the cleanest carpets I've ever had during a hotel stay! NO bugs whatsoever which was huge for me, since I've had some bad experiences at other places. The hotel has been recently remodeled, so of course, that factors in. Just a few little things that were different from other hotels I've stayed at: there is not a microwave in each room, but there is a modern one on every floor, so it's still convenient (there is a mini-fridge) and any little extras/amenities you might need, you have to ask for - I needed an iron and ironing board, which was brought to me almost immediately upon request. Also, the A/C unit is kind of high-tech and I had to have someone show me how to use the remote the next morning, as most of the controls are hidden behind the lower panel on the remote (it would help if a little label was attached to it, instructing guests to pull down on it, so they're not struggling in the middle of the night to figure it out when they want to adjust the room temperature/fan speed). Only other thing that would have been a little helpful was a small light on the balcony to be able to see better at night when sitting out there. Overall, I absolutely LOVED this place and this will definitely be my go-to again, next time I'm in Sedona! Supposedly, it might be turned into a Best Western, but I really hope it doesn't and that it gets to keep it's unique charm - and if it does change, then I'm very happy to be able to say that I got to experience it while it was the Andante Inn. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you're not looking for anything too big and crazy or expensive, and that is still modern and comfortable, in a prime location!

Enjoying our 30th anniversary in Sedona we were looking for a place with wow factor views and this place nails it. You must get a rim view room when staying here. Amazing views! A special thank you to Hannah for providing excellent driving to get us down and back safely from the uptown area. There is great hiking close by and the Mesa Grill down the street is yummy for breakfast too!

This Inn was such a pleasant surprise! I planned our Sedona trip later than I usually put plans together, so the room type I asked for was not available when I made the reservation. At check-in, the Manager upgraded our room & we were so comfortable there! Recently renovated, comfortable beds, lovely room, detailed comfort, you could tell someone really thought through all the appointments. It even had a TV channel guide and every room door was screened from the parking lot by its own front porch and also had a cushioned love seat to enjoy the beautiful Sedona Red Rock view. The air conditioner, refrigerator, microwave and mini coffee maker worked great. One of the best things about the Inn was being just next door to the gorgeous Tlaquepaque market.

It is a small villa with all kitchen utensils and utensils. The sofa bed is not good, so it can only be used as a floor. Overall, it is worth staying in. Go to the supermarket to buy some vegetables and make them easily. It is very convenient and worth recommending.

Star Motel

I booked on Expedia based on the good reviews and when I got there, went into the office and found out that there was no one working at the motel. I had to wait to get a code to check in via email. Waited, waited, went shopping, and finally made a few phone calls and finally got the code. Went back to the motel and checked out the room. It was marginally clean, killed a few bugs but was going to stay anyway. We went out to dinner (location was the only plus about this motel). When we got back from dinner, we could not lock our door. I tried again and again, and could not get it to lock. In addition to the electronic lock not working, there was no lock inside the door as every motel/hotel I've ever stayed in has as a security measure so that a hotel/motel employee would not barge in on you at any moment. As I am a single mom, with 2 daughters, I felt extremely unsafe. This motel is on ground level, and anyone could have come in at any moment. we called the number for the ”virtual front desk” and I was speaking with a woman who said she was in California so she wasn't even sure if she could get someone from maintenance to check out the lock for us. I told her I felt unsafe and asked if we could get a refund and leave. She was actually very pleasant and said that would be okay. She even offered to help me find an other place to stay, and I said I would book something else on Expedia. We took our belongings and left. We had not touched the beds or anything. We did wash our hands in the bathroom, so probably used a hand towel or two. The next morning I received an email saying that they were charging me for the stay because they were able to lock the door. I was not imagining that I could not lock the door!! It was a huge inconvenience to have to leave and get a new room.

The breakfast was great. It was the best in the hotel where I had breakfast for free on this trip. There were whole wheat bread, scones, fruit, fresh milk, and I could make my own waffles. The front desk staff was also very enthusiastic.
