lovely place , spotless clean, staff are very welcoming, I stayed here before and I always get the same welcoming and friendly service. the room was very confortable, and it has all you need. highly recommended and loud shouts for all the team who are an assest to the hotel.

The hotel is situated on the busy A38 but is not affected by traffic noise. All the staff are polite and considerate and go the extra mile to provide good service The food is outstanding ; beautifully presented and prepared. And it tastes great too! Good bar too which is imp because there’s little else to find a drink in the village. Ideal for short or longer stays if you have a car. Taunton is clos for good shopping and the Somerset levels a dozen miles away. I’d stay there again anytime.

Rooms quiet with comfortable beds plus excellent bathrooms. Reception and bar area well laid out to relax in. Josie on reception is a real asset - very helpful to family booking in before me and with my query. Only downside - having to pay to park in their own car park, which is in an industrial area.

Have enjoyed staying in this hotel over the years for different functions, my daughters wedding, a friends 50th wedding Anniversary party, a works Christmas party and again last night for our 21st Anniversary as a couple, each time we’ve had a different room and every time slept so well and not because of the alcohol, the beds and pillows are perfect never woken with a stiff neck lol yes it has so many different levels steps and it can be a maze to get around with some creaky floors and dated interior but this is what makes this hotel stand out from the rest it can cater for large party’s smaller groups and couples, it’s situated in a country setting it’s has a spa lovely swimming pool sauna and steam room included in the price which we really enjoyed it’s relaxing, All the staff are friendly helpful and smiling a great atmosphere. It’s a gem and I know we will be coming back again in the near future, if we lived closer we’d jump at the chance of having a membership to the leisure and spa part highly recommend

Stayed at the hotel during the week as attended a funeral. Emmy was so helpful on the evening we got back, and booked us in for dinner even though they were extremely busy! Nothing was any trouble she is an absolute delight to us all especially the day we had all had. Well done Bridgwater Gateway 🎉
