The place is a dream and the owners and staff are the friendly and accommodating. The room was beautifully decorated and the pub and dining room meals were delicious. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in the area. Nancy Neville Ottawa, Canada

From start to finish and everything in between we had a fantastic 3 night stay. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely, very grateful for the ceiling fans as even though we stayed in December, the room was toasty warm! So many little bits of attention to detail made our stay very comfortable, we would definitely recommend! Breakfast- couldn't fault a thing, everything cooked to order and thoroughly delicious...in fact all of the meals we had were! A big thank you for helping us to celebrate hubby's big birthday!

By chance, when looking for a new place to eat, we strayed to visit the King William IV but unfortunately did not meet him - we were told he had just left!! After the awesome sight of the Tepee (and even more awesome inside) we were welcomed and offered a lovely table for two by the window. After that we enjoyed the atmosphere, the food (my Vegan wife was well satisfied and my fish was done to a treat) and especially the service from our lovely waitress (pity we did not get her name) who made our visit rather special, so thank you. We understand that the present owners only took over in Spring 2024 so well done, we wish you all success - it will be special over the Christmas period we are sure.

I often travel for work but this is one of the best I have ever stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble. All staff were so polite and courteous. The room was absolutely beautiful with everything you could need plus more. The small things made such a difference like books and games in the room. The lights were remote controlled with built in fans which made a lot of difference. The food was amazing. A very varied menu with plenty of choice and quality produce. Everything was tasty and the breakfast was great with, again, plenty of choice. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will tell my friends and colleagues to book in the future. Thanks you for an extremely pleasant stay.

It was a delight to stay here from the start of our two night stay to the end. We were made welcome from the start (and a particular nod to Claire). The Inn has just completed a refurbishment and everything looks in excellent order. All who worked there were friendly, helpful and at ease . A special delight was the spectacular and imaginative breakfast (in terms of healthy and tasty food) taken in the delightful restaurant looking out onto gentle hills and trees. We will certainly be more than happy to stay there again if we find ourselves in this part of the world again.

We had an overnight stay at the King William 1V, to celebrate my birthday, having booked a superior room (room 6). The inn is in a rural village a short drive from the A149 (Kings Lynn to Hunstanton road), turn off by Norfolk Lavender, which is well worth a visit in it's own right, it has a great farm shop! The inn is a large, very attractive, white building, with a spacious carpark. The welcome we received on entering, was very warm and friendly, to summarise, all the staff we encountered, were friendly, knowledgeable, and nothing was too much trouble for them, a credit to the Coaching Inn Group. The interior of the inn had been refurbished in the spring, by the new owners, and the furnishings and decor were tasteful, stylish, and comfortable. Our room was spacious, with a queen bed, and remote controlled lighting and air conditioning, (manual controls also available), with lovely views of the outdoor garden area and car park. We dined at the inn, and enjoyed excellent meals. The menu is NOT gastro, but classic British with a twist, in my opinion. Very acceptable choices. Breakfast, too was excellent, with great choices, and a buffet selection of cereals, pastries, fruits, toasts, etc. Ample for all! We intend to visit again!!

The King William 1V is a new addition to the Coaching Inn Group and it’s absolutely stunning. Having been recently refurbished, the furnishings and fabrics were of the best quality. Our bedroom was extremely quiet and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast choice was really excellent. So many choices of hot food, cereal, fruit etc. Dinner in the evening was also excellent with a good choice beautifully cooked and presented. More Hotel/ Restaurant quality than pub food. The location is excellent for exploring the north Norfolk coast. But it was the staff that made our stay and especially Claire who seem to be there all the time breakfast in the morning reception during the day so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Bruce the manager again seem to be there all day and most of the evening acting as Manager Barman, Waiter and he probably did the washing up! Finally, Lily in the evening was really excellent serving 22 diners on our last evening. So thank you, Lily, and all the best for your second year at University. Finally some advice to the management of the coaching in group you have some wonderful staff at the hotel they are a credit to your organisation It was an absolute delight to stay there.

This was such a lovely stay. ALL staff very welcoming and friendly. Room lovely, ate in restaurant both nights and food excellent. Particularly good for me as Coeilac. Not often offered gf porridge, pancakes, fish and chips. Good base for seeing bits in of North Norfolk we usually miss. Felt we’d had a real break.

The Hotel , Staff and Food were all excellent. The only DOWNSIDE was the computer system which was dreadful and frustrating for customers and staff. Please get it sorted before we stay at any other Coaching Inn property
