Mariners Hotel

Well what can we say, other than outstanding. Lisa & Dean made us feel extremely welcome and it was more like spending a weekend with family than just in a hotel. The location is perfect, amazing views across the sea and coastline. The whole property was exceptionally clean, beautiful decor and everything you could need. Food was absolutely outstanding all home cooked, well presented and extremely tasty. We were blown away with our visit and will be returning as soon as we can get away again.

Room was lovely and spotlessly clean with a beautiful view over the whole bay. Breakfast really good, and optional evening meal equally as good, Lisa and Dean really friendly and helpful, as was all the staff. Would certainly recommend a stay.

Lovely friendly B&B on the seafront, with an onsite bar and restaurant which is open to non residents. Have stopped twice in the last couple of weeks for an early evening drink. Lisa and Dean are fantastic hosts and very welcoming and friendly. With a small well stocked bar and reasonable prices. We are sure to visit again evening meals in their onsite bistro also available to non-residents and locals. Great location and a friendly atmosphere!!

We stayed in late July 2024 in room 2 which was absolutely lovely! We both had very comfortable beds and pillows ! The room which was impeccably clean had double aspect windows and sea views. The room had comfy chairs , lovely lighting and plenty of places to put your clothes etc . The bathroom had lovely products with a good shower. We hadn’t expected to eat both nights in the hotel but after tasting the delicious home cooked fish pie on on our first night and our marvellous breakfast we decided to eat there again on our second night too. It was lovely to have a lovely day walking and come back to a lovely meal once again. We enjoyed drinks on the terrace too. All in all a lovely place to stay with Lisa and Dean being wonderful hosts. We really look forward to visiting again soon!

Just would like to say a big thank you to Dean & Lisa for a lovely Sunday afternoon as being non residents. We had a lovely meal , and we would definitely recommend the food at Mariners Hotel . We will be back when we are in the area again. Steve & Sue Drinkwater

(Posting on behalf of my parents who have just returned from a 3 day visit) The Sea Escape apartment was wonderful, spotlessly clean, well equipped and had a beautiful view. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and we would have no hesitation in recommending The Mariners Hotel to family and friends
