Sand Castle Inn

The location is OK, there are more fast food restaurants nearby. The interior decoration of the room is much better than most motels. The biggest problem is that wifi is very very difficult to use, the delay is very long, and friends who want to play in the night carefully consider it.
SureStay Hotel by Best Western Seaside Monterey

Good value, especially considering how expensive the area is. We stayed at one other hotel north of this one and for an extra $150 bucks it wasn’t that much better. Rooms are a little small but adequate. Having AC isn’t always necessary but when you need it, you need it! It’s close to everything including a great stretch of beach. That’s the only drawback IMO. Rick, the manager represents the brand well!

I wanted to like it, or at least appreciate it for its value. But I would have been a lot happier paying another $30 a night for a merely mediocre place. * When I checked in, the room had its windows open, even though it was less than 60F outside. I found out why the next morning: with the windows closed, the place gradually started smelling more and more like cigarette smoke. Yes, he still has smoking rooms, and yes, he puts non-smokers in them, without asking or disclosing, even though he had a non-smoking room right next to it. Nice! * The beds. I have stayed in a lot of hotels, and mostly their beds are too soft for me, even though these days I sleep on my side. This bed was so hard I couldn’t even sleep on my back. How? It wasn’t even an old mattress! * Somehow, the road noise inside the room is LOUDER than it is outside. So loud. Totally overwhelmed my white noise generator. Even at 3 AM, which is about when I got to sleep. On the up side… it’s clean?
Bay Breeze Inn

Free parking, free wifi, big room, no breakfast, booked twin room, good sanitation, well-equipped, you must use the room key to open the door when you enter and exit the stairs, the security is very good! The only downside is that the air conditioner is too loud at night and I didn't sleep well all night!
Pacific Best Inn

Cost-effective, although the facilities are simple, but sufficient, not only a coffee maker, but also a microwave. The room is big enough. It is the most cost-effective one in our 14-day trip to the West
Sand Dollar Inn

The hotel is good, the parking lot is very large, the room is very clean, there is a supermarket restaurant around, the grandfather at the front desk is also very enthusiastic, the only thing is that there is no elevator, the second floor has to carry the suitcase to climb the stairs
