A one night stop over in Seahouses Again such an amazing part of the UK. I had paid for a surprise to see my parents so we needed somewhere kind of last minute. Easy self check in, even tho finding it was difficult but that was due to the fact it was dark and I hadn’t got an email that they did send me, my bad. Absolutely recommend this place. It’s clean and central. The only thing that I would mention was the fire alarm went off and continued to for some time on our visit. It turned out to be someone’s shower going off but when we got back in to our room we noticed signs everywhere saying don’t use deodorant or hairspray in the room. Seemed a bit much. Will be back

We stayed 4 nights in this AA2star rated hotel. You basically have expectations which go with the rating so when you get great service, quality food, fantastic staff, a lovely,well equipped room and a parking space outside the door, then a 5 star rating is well deserved. The welcome from Karen was warm and friendly and the place was full of staff who had the same attitude. We checked in on the day of the State funeral so couldn’t eat at the hotel ( but the restaurant is closed on Monday evening anyway). The bar was open and lively and reinforced the good feel about the place. Liked the price of the drinks too! We stayed in The Snug - very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfasts (ordered the evening before) were excellent and Ross was a very efficient server. We made frequent use of the bar in the evenings; lots of very friendly locals. Only had dinner on one evening but what a dinner. Steak night was brilliant and great value. A wonderful stay, lovely people and every reason to return - 400 miles is a bit far to think of it as a local!
