This hotel was actually booked for me by another Coimbra inn because they could only accommodate me for one night. That said, I thought it was top-notch. It's a little off the beaten track if you want to be downtown, but it's right near the botanical garden and not far from the university. For the price, the room was much larger than I expected it to be, nicely furnished and with a good bathroom, and it was also on a very quiet, residential street. The rooftop breakfast (included) was very nice. Best of all, the staff was super helpful. They let me check in early and kept my bag after I checked out. They also helped me with getting a bus ticket for Lisbon, which they printed out. All in all, I would have happily stayed there longer had I been able to.

A wonderful building in a very nice area, with a wonderful view. Everything was thought about with the greatest taste! Breakfast was served in the upper floor, with great view and was just excellent. The best was the staff: were all the time in contact before our arrival, to be sure we can get into the place, gave us all the touristic information we needed, and were just lovely. Thanks a lot!

Excellent location for visiting the city in a very quiet area. The property does not have private parking but you can leave your car for free along the street. The rooms and common areas are clean and welcoming. Pay attention to cleanliness and attention to detail. Good and very abundant breakfast, you can stay in a small room on the top floor or on the terrace overlooking the city (in our case unfortunately it was too windy to stay outside. We were pleasantly surprised by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff ( complete with a magnet as a gift at the end of our stay).

Ancient villa perfectly modernized in the interior in the upper part of Coimbra. Interior furnishings in a modern and welcoming style, large, clean and bright room with a charming small terrace. The only flaw is the lack of elevator. Varied and discreet breakfast. Excellent value for money. Advised.
