I booked here through ******* because a family event was taking place here and I thought I was a getting a good deal. The hotel look smithing like the pictures posted online, it looks old and when we were given the room, went up and opened the door, there was a smell of humidity, then I saw bedbugs right in the bed spread. I didn’t even lift the blanket because that was enough. We went to the front desk and offered another room, and we said we would need to check it first. This room was worse!! There were blood stains on the bedsheets and bedbug droppings all over the base of the bed and mattress. There was even hair, from whoever stayed the night before. Needless to say we walked out and I’m still fighting for my refund. I posted a review on google and the admin for the hotel said I was aggravated upon arrival, which is untrue. My husband was joking with staff and I was walking around the front and speaking to my kids. It is obvious that I would be upset after I found the bedbugs. I never asked for anything for free from them, in fact I paid almost $300 to stay at another hotel further away, because peace of mind has no price. I just want people to know, because when we travel we trust that the places we choose to pay are actually clean and safe for our families and it’s not right that they try to make you seem like you’re crazy and imagining things and you’re trying to score a freebie. Trust me, I wouldn’t have stayed here even if they paid me!
