Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort Spa Gainey Ranch

This is our go to place for our annual staycation during the summer. It's a wonderful resort. They have wonderful pools. They also have an "adult only" pool if you want to relax away from the kiddos. To add to our wonderful experience was the Bird Man from Liberty Wildlife. On the 4th of July he had Aurora, a huge beautiful female bald eagle. You are able to take a picture with Aurora and as she is lifted up behind you she spreads her gorgeous wings! On other days he might have a hawk or an owl. The live band in the pm was fun too! The picture I posted here of the Bird Man is from Google. The eagle he is with is beautiful, but not Aurora. 💜

Great looking property in a great location. Subpar food and food service Valet is trying but has a new app…it doesn’t work

I was very disappointed with the hotel. It was in a run down condition. There seems to be construction going on in the pool area. The fountains were totally turned off. The carpets looked dirty and old, so were the showers. Too expensive for the condition it’s in.

It was good but therw should be compensation for drilling on Saturday mornings and Friday night

Very accommodating staff...easy valet parking, great bar staff and easy check in. Located very close to all scottsdale activities

Staff are wonderful! We always stay here when we are in Scottsdale. Going through a massive remodel now so not the same experience as usual but they did everything they could to make our stay great.

Overall it was a great stay, but the property was under construction.l. Staff were conscientious about letting us know and working around it, but some facilities were not available. The only time we ate at the hotel, service was very slow, as a large wedding seemed to have staff overwhelmed. Great property,great location.

The hotel was undergoing major reconstruction. And while we were generally warned of this the management at the hotel did not clearly communicate what this entailed. We received less than 24 hours notice that all water would be unavailable for an extended period of time and no forewarning that we would be trapped and unable to leave for 1/2 hour for helicopters to drop off equipment. We almost missed our flight

The hotel is under major reconstruction. No restaurants, no pools, couldn’t get door keys when checked in. When mentioned they said Oh you booked with ******* but if you would have booked online w Hyatt it was a note about the very limited access there. ******* did r say Nothing about it and instead showed all the wonderful features at the hotel even though you knew it wasn’t available. Bad on ******* not informing us. Cheap of you.
