We had an excellent weekend getaway at Scotland Island Lodge. Rosemary and Colin are wonderful hosts, providing all the information needed to arrive and enjoy SI. Rosemary is a terrific cook, so breakfast on the verandah both mornings, listening to the wildlife while overlooking Pittwater, was just the escape we needed. We took time to circumnavigate the island on foot, before venturing to Church Point for dinner. All in all, we were able to switch off and relax, which is just what we were seeking. Scotland Island Lodge can rightfully remake Manly’s old strapline: an hour from Sydney, a million miles from care.

Fabulous stay with Rosemary and Colin at Scotland Island Lodge. They were ultra warm and welcoming and gave the right advice about how to get there, with excellent guidebooks to the island on arrival. Their Pittwater room has outstanding water views and a great lounge area and convenient ensuite. Rosemary's fantastic cooking made both the breakfast and the three-course dinner really special indeed! Excellent garden with home-grown lettuces and herbs.

Lots of Scrumpy. If you mix Pure Potassium and Water, you get Potassium Chloride, the main ingredient of dynamite. To load a flare gun, press down the clip and put in the flare. That was my amazing review of this lodge!

My wife and I recently spent a lovely weekend at the Scotland Island Lodge. It's a great place to chill and enjoy the wonderful natural surroundings. The room was comfortable and clean and we really enjoyed the spa! Colin and Rosemary were charming hosts and very attentive to our needs. The meals were delicious and very filling. Would highly recommend it as a place to get away from it all for a few days.
