Residence Makauda Beach

I booked a week well in advance with the rest of my family in this structure, and we went to Sicily specifically. It's a shame that on the day of departure we were informed that the reservation had been canceled without further explanation. After calling the facility, it was explained to me in a hasty and careless manner that they had overbooked (i.e. they had accepted more reservations than they could handle!) and that it wasn't their problem since I had booked through ******** ***. Booking customer service explained to me that the property did not close the reservations on the system so they could not have been aware of what was happening. The ridiculous thing is the tone the staff had on the phone, lacking any empathy towards a customer. This says a lot about the professionalism of this structure which, alas, seems really excellent; Nonetheless, customer service and above all courtesy must always come first and unfortunately this did not happen. I highly recommend avoiding unless you want to run the risk of seeing a holiday fall apart at the last minute.

mi sono trovato bene però consiglio di curare l immagine perché al porto impatto risulta squallida e non ben tenuta (ad esempio basta poco per dar da bere ai fiori) ...oppure bagnare ogni tanto la polvere ....

Eravamo già stati due anni fa in questo residence e anche quest' anno ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il residence è praticamente sul mare, apri il portone, attraversi la stradina e sei in spiaggia dove hai a disposizione ombrellone e sdraio. Mare pulito, temperatura perfetta, bar sulla spiaggia, possibilità di noleggio pedalò a due passi. Il residence è molto sicuro e ben frequentato, lasciavamo tranquillamente vicino il portone sul mare sia i giochi dei bimbi che canotti già gonfiati. Gli appartamenti sono comodi con ambiente soggiorno con angolo cucina, televisore, aria condizionata. Camera da letto con armadio e cassettiera, bagno con doccia w asciugacapelli, cortile con filo per stendere. Bellissima l'area barbecue con tavolate sotto gli alberi per mangiare in compagnia sia a pranzo che a cena. Campetto di calcio e pallavolo, campo di bocce e area giochi. I bambini molto autonomi all'interno del residence, senza pericoli. I gestori sempre disponibili, come pure il servizio in spiaggia. Attendiamo con ansia il completamento del ristorante.
