This is a great hotel with incredible views of the port in the sleepy town of Sciacca, Sicily. We only stayed for one night when travelling from the North to South of the island but would definitely recommend based upon our experience. The hotel is very centrally located in the small town and is accessible to the centre within just a few minutes walk. The marina / port is also within ten minutes walk, although there seems to be a lot of building work ongoing currently so not much to see or do here. The hotel is clean and spacious and the small balcony is great for sitting out and watching the world go by in an evening.

We have just returned from a delightful stay at the charming Domus Maris Hotel. A warm welcome awaited us, hidden away in a cobbled street. The hotel is beautifully & tastefully decorated with all modern accompaniments. Every effort has been made to retain the charm & uniqueness of the building yet including modern architecture to elevate it , giving it luxury feel. The large windows with views over the sea. The stunning breakfast room which must have been an old cellar, retains a traditional feel. Would highly recommend if you’re visiting Sciacca (a lovely town) it’s in the heart of everything. My husband and I spent our 25th wedding anniversary at Domus Maris and loved it and its restaurant Vela. We picked the hotel because of the reviews and its mention in the Lonely Planet Guide. While we intended to stay for one night between visits to Selinunte and Agrigento, we loved our stay and Sciacca so much that we knew we needed to have one more special day there. We spent a little extra to get the sea view and balcony. Even the gorgeous bathroom had a sea view! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, positive, and helpful. The hotel is in the old town, next to a beautiful plaza that overlooks the sea and across the street from a basilica. There are lots of places to eat nearby, though we particularly enjoyed the fresh and innovative dinners at Vela while sitting on its terrace.

For this price, this boutique hotel deserves 5 stars. Located in the centre of Sciazza, a little gem. Unload your luggage in front of the hotel, then park your car a few hundred meters further. There is free parking, I did not find it, had to pay €1 per hour, a bit of hassle as you need to buy coupons at a bar. So ask reception for good direction. Rooms are good, little balcony overlooking the sea, the hotel is not at sea. Small bathroom, great shower, good bed, coffeemaker. Breakfast not too extensive has more than sufficient options. Definitely recommended!

This is my second time staying here, and let me tell you it was just as amazing as the first time. The staff are all so friendly and nice! They truly try to make you feel so at home here, and to be honest it is starting to feel like home. They also give wonderful recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The rooms are wonderful and very modern, the views of the marina, and seaside are just gorgeous. The breakfast is perfect, and again how can you not love it with those views, along with the waitstaff for breakfast who are very attentive and friendly as well. The location is great, the rooms are wonderful, the staff is even better. I could go on and on, but will just say you can not go wrong staying here.

We stayed here for the first 5 nights of our 11 night stay on this side of Sicily . First of all let me explain why I’ve not ranked it as excellent - yes it is for value for money , excellent for a quality breakfast not huge amounts but local fresh produce on offer , excellent for location and excellent for areas in the hotel and it’s cleanliness. The only reason I’ve not given it overall excellent is my person view that our room was a tad compact , I would normally book a suite but this was a last minute booking due to my husband working offshore in Sicily and our plans changing therefore a suite was not available . We did like the double shower and the coffee maker in the room but the aircon was all or nothing . Would I recommend this accommodation - most definitely. The only other issue we had was parking - now we know what parking is like ( not many city centre hotels have parking ) and yes we used a nearby public car park and we’re prepared to pay but it was the faff of scratch cards - one for every hour that restrictions so we ended up having to put 5 cards in the car from 4pm til 9 ( after we got back after a day out ) it does get busy with locals at weekends so take that into consideration then my husband had to get up and put 2 more from 8am in the morning. We know there is free parking further away but it was always full so we gave up trying .

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of the old town by the main piazza. Near to a number of shops, restaurants, bars and trattoria’s. Overlooks the port so moon looks lovely at night. Although piazza is lively at night you can’t hear anything in your room.

Warm welcome for a weary traveler. Great location and view. Clean and attractive room. Good breakfast. Enjoyed my stay.

Gem of a hotel linked to an amazing restaurant called Vela. Breakfast was on a beautiful terrace too. Sciacca was a lovely little town with some lovely shops and cafes, well worth a one or two night visit.

To keep it short, this was the best hotel I stayed at during my month long European vacation. The staff were all so kind and friendly. They were helpful, gave great recommendations and always had a smile on their faces. The views of the sea and marina were perfect for this small little fisherman’s town. The breakfast was also delicious, and we were able to eat outside and enjoy the views which was nice! I will 100% be back again!!

Excellent place, service and location! Unforgettable experience!

[We stayed here for 6 days in mid may. Apart from that it rained every day the hotel was excellent. The rooms were far larger than most hotels we have stayed in. Every thing was immaculate. The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was good. The restaurant was OK but a bit expensive.
