Restored grain mill. Lovely waterfront location in a suburban neighbourhood about 20 minutes walk from the town centre. Free parking with ample spaces in secure carpark. There are two EV chargers available. Reception team and service were wonderful. Great breakfast and we enjoyed a lovely meal one evening with excellent cocktails. The hotel has a traditional feel and the rooms are well decorated and spacious. We had a great stay and found the hotel very relaxing.

We stayed here over NYE. We were lucky enough to be staying in one of the studios, which, of course, is a little more expensive than the regular rooms. But well worth it. Nice lighting in the room, comfortable bed, spacious. We will certainly come again and now that we are spoilt, not taking the studio will be hard. Only downside: our studio had limited view of the lake. We did see the lake though from the room. Just not a full view of it. I rented a bamboo bike, which is super handy and they are decent bikes. E-charging is available to guests and the bar looks fantastic, though we didn't visit the bar. Since the restaurant was booked out for NYE, we didn't try it. We will try it next time. Breakfast was decent: oat milk, soy milk etc. also available, which is a bonus. Friendly staff. All in all, a super stay at a super hotel in Schwerin in top location. Will be nice go go again in summer.

Wir waren für 2 Nächte in dem Hotel. Das Zimmer war etwas klein und das Mobiliar bereits etwas abgewöhnt. Es gibt leider auch keine Balkone an dem Gebäude. Um zu Fuß in die Altstadt zu gelangen, muss man schon eine knappe halbe Stunde einplanen. Das waren aber auch schon alle negativen Punkte. Das Personal war durchgängig sehr freundlich. Ein Parkplatz befindet sich direkt vor dem Hotel. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig. Kaffee- und Eierspezialitäten gibt es auf Nachfrage (das steht leider nirgends). Hervorheben möchte ich noch das Restaurant. Die Abendessen waren sehr lecker. Insgesamt ist das Hotel sehr empfehlenswert.

Danke für ein umfassendes gelungenes Wochenende im Hotel Speicher am Ziegelsee. Angefangen vom Empfang, über das Zimmer mit Aussicht über den See und dem perfekten Frühstück mit regionalen und Bio-Angeboten. Die Betreuung durch die Rezeption war von der Reservierung bis zum Check-out tadellos.

Hotel super. Sehr sauber. Schönes Ambiente. Äußerst ruhig. Angenehme Kissen. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parken Spitze. Frühstück sehr gut. Große Auswahl. Abendessen verbesserungsbedürftig. Keine Salate, wenig Geschmack im Essen.

Heerlijk hotel om rustig te verblijven tijdens fiets- of wandelvakantie, goede en ruime kamers, vriendelijk personeel en goede service. Het ligt prachtig aan het meer, rustige plek op 2 km van het centrum en station. Ontbijt is goed en ook ruime tijden

Ich habe ein paar Tage mit meinen beiden Töchtern dort einen Kurzurlaub verbracht und bin restlos angetan! Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer toll, mit Ausblick auf den See. Das Frühstück eine Wucht und im Anschluß direkt in den See, der nur wenige Meter vom Hotel entfernt ist. Endlich mal war wirklich alles zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit!

Wir waren für 4 Tage Gäste des Hotels und haben uns überwiegend sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage direkt am Ziegelsee ist hervorragend und wir haben diese vor allem auch abends, im Strandkorb sitzend, genossen. Die Altstadt ist fußläufig in gemütlichem Tempo in 20 - 30 Minuten erreicht. Als richtige Wahl erwies sich das Studio mit Seeblick in der 7. Etage, das Ruhe und eine tolle Aussicht garantierte. Das Bad ist sehr geräumig und modern, jedoch wäre mehr Abstellfläche wünschenswert. Als sehr nette Geste empfanden wir die stets frische Rose am Spiegel. Positiv hervorzuheben sind auch das Frühstücksangebot und der kostenlose Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel. Deutliche Schwächen nahmen wir jedoch im Service wahr - so die zum Teil regelrecht unbeholfene Bedienung auf der Terrasse, die vom Gast zur Ausübung ihrer Tätigkeit gebeten werden musste, die tagsüber nicht ständige Erreichbarkeit von Mitarbeitern an der Rezeption und die zum Teil sehr späte Zimmerreinigung. Dass hier der Fachkräftemangel eine Rolle spielen kann, ist uns zwar durchaus bewusst, hat aber unseren Gesamteindruck ein wenig getrübt. Nichtsdestotrotz ist das Hotel sehr zu empfehlen.
