The hotel is situated in a small village along the main road. Free parking is available in front of the hotel. Very friendly welcome and nice staff. The room was clean and spacious although a bit out of date. That counts for the hotel itself, everything looks a bot outdated, but then again this is largely compensated by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Good restaurant too, typical German food. You will not leave the table hungry.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. We received a very friendly welcome. The hotel is decorated with great attention to detail. The room was very clean and spacious. Great breakfast buffet that left nothing to be desired. The dinner was super delicious. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The wellness area is also very nice.

The journey to the hotel was OK. But it didn't really convince us that we were being warmly welcomed. The receptionist was friendly but reserved. The room was cold because the heating was off. We understand if you want to save energy and not heat the room to level 5. But having it completely turned off is not very pleasant at the start of winter. Unfortunately, the soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken (it was repaired after we reported it to reception), and a piece of enamel was missing from the bathtub right by the drain. We wanted to extend our stay by one more night so we could enjoy a massage in the afternoon, but unfortunately our room category was fully booked. We received various offers that did not match my request. The gentleman at check-out was very pleasant. He gave us the feeling that he was happy that we were there. So unfortunately I'm not 100 percent convinced by the hotel. We then ate lunch and dinner in the hotel's own restaurant. The service was warm and friendly. The nice lady (unfortunately we didn't get her name) was also able to give us information about the place. The food was excellent and very tasty! The price is also justified. We really liked the restaurant and were 100 percent convinced.

Large parts of the hotel appear to have been relatively recently modernized - the Twin Room with Terrace was furnished with straightforward modern wooden furniture. The small bathroom is also modernly designed. There are several small seating areas in the hallways, which look tastefully cozy with small details. From the spa area, only the small indoor pool was used - this could be more attractive - but sufficient for a little relaxation. The two menus in the restaurant were delicious. Upon request, there was a fine wine accompaniment. The breakfast the next morning was very varied and tasty - there were regional open goods - hardly any food packaged in portions. From checking in to visiting the restaurant and checking out after breakfast, we met friendly, attentive people who made the stay a lovely short trip.
