Ein hundefreundliches Hotel mit sehr schönen Zimmern, direkt an einem Park mit Hunde-Auslaufzone. Das Restaurant und die Bar sind wunderschön eingerichtet und besonders das Restaurant- und Bar-Personal war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Nicht so nordisch-steif, wie man es von manchen hochpreisigen Hotels kennt. Wir fanden das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr angemessen. Das Frühstück ist ausgewählt üppig, mit vielen kleinen, ungewöhnlichen Leckereien (kaltgebeizter Lachs, Himbeer-Buttermilch...) und jeden Morgen anders. Die Terrasse mit Blick in den Park und auf einen kleinen Teil der Förder ist einfach ein Traum. Die Weinauswahl ist sehr gut und die Preise für Wein und Menü angemessen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

From start to finish the stay for us here was really poor. Where do we even start? So for €187 a night you’d expect some high quality and at minimum friendly receptionists, I’m not sure I even saw them smile in the 2 weeks I stayed here. Also you wouldn’t expect to walk into a €187 a night hotel and be greeted by a strong waft of cigarette smoke. When arriving in the room all seemed well, the doors were a little difficult to open but besides that couldn’t fault the rooms. We visited the swimming pool downstairs which had no water in and remained without water throughout our stay. Next was the sauna which had signs on the door which said about it being out of order. What about the games room, well there was a ping pong table which at reception you could get hold of the bats and balls but the fusbol table and dart board were clearly there for decoration purposes as there was no ball/darts for them. The breakfast in the morning was a continental style buffet but we were told off for going up and getting second helpings. The bar was also another decorative item as that too was never open. Then we move onto the pool table room, the strongest stench of smoke in the hotel with fag ends left all around the room. The table was the worst quality I’ve ever come across, most the time the pockets didn’t work but when they did balls would get stuck under the table frequently when they were potted, sticks were bent, table was on the piss with a hill at one end of the table. Not to mention myself and a friend were playing a game of pool in their on a couple of occasions when the receptionist would come in and light one up! We then immediately left the room. For €187 a night you really would expect better. Towards the end of our stay late at night the toilet door was jammed and we struggled to open it, with abit of force it opened but slightly damaged around the lock area. I mentioned it to the receptionist the next day and she came up and had a look and said ‘I don’t know what to say but don’t worry about it you seem to have been unlucky’. I asked if there was anything she wanted us to do and she once again said ‘don’t worry about it’ so I didn’t until a couple days later I received an email stating a new door would cost me €250 and that no note was left regarding the door or even an acknowledgement that the receptionist had been informed and even came to our room. Personally all in all I wasn’t at all pleased with my stay here and will not be staying here again in the future

The hotel is very well to reach at the outskirts of the city, relatively quietly located. As a night accommodation in connection with a cruise is very recommended, as it is to reach the cruise port in a few minutes walk. It is also well located for excursions to the city. The breakfast is still a little air upwards, since the hotel was very visiting at the time of the visit and the breakfast room (in the EC) reminds a store store (long-track room) there were waiting times for a seating room for breakfast. The hotel is still very new and clean. The rooms are convenient, simple but modern furnished. Parking facilities for cars are apparently defectware here, but could not be checked as arrivals with the train.

Super Hotel was for the journey! Breakfast was super delicious and our dinner in the restaurant right in the hotel has very mouthed us. The staff and their service were absolutely nothing to expose, the people there are all super-previous and friendly! Rooms were also very clean, as well as the hotel in the whole! Who wants to shop, doesn't have to walk away from the hotel and is already in the centre! I'd like to come back if it should happen again!!!

I spent hours researching hotel options in Kiel (never been, was invited to a birthday party), and wound up in this hotel. No question that the hotel offers the best location for Kiel activities at the best price. They have regular sized rooms and larger rooms facing the waterfront, expect to have each room come with everything you expect in a 4 star hotel. In-house parking available, just about everything worth doing in Kiel can be reached by foot, the ferry boats leave from a pier virtually across the street. If you have the time, definitely take the ferry to Laboe, other side of the harbor bay, where you will find a wide variety of beach front restaurants and shops and the U995 WWII submarine exhibit - above ground, with the price of admission (around $10) you can walk it stern to bow. Anyway, back to the hotel - this is the best option for the money, do not hesitate to book.

Absolute disaster. Not reached by phone on the day of arrival. Only one (very friendly employee) to check in. Long waiting times as a result. The room was missing duvet, pillow. Why is a room reported as ready? Transfer to another room took forever. Breakfast buffet totally overflowing. As a result, there weren't enough products available because the staff didn't keep up. This is a modest, slightly old-fashioned hotel. My single room looked quite freshly renovated, though. Enough space to store your things, even a (very small) room safe, a clean and functional bathroom. Cleanliness in the room itself was mediocre (some spots on the carpet and it didn't look like they cleaned the space under the bed, but it wasn't too bad). Quite comfortable bed. Small, acceptable breakfast. The location is convenient, in easily walkable distance from the main train station and close to the Stena Line ferry as well - though the immediate vicinity isn't particularly nice. Reception was closed overnight at the time of my stay. For the price, the hotel is alright.

#Praise# for sound insulation, close to restaurants, location, lighting in the room, hotel smell, satisfactory price/performance ratio; The hotel is at the entrance of the train station. It is very convenient. There are several bus lines and supermarkets and restaurants around. The hotel room is very soundproof and the room size is suitable. It is not small in Germany. The only dissatisfaction is that the shower room is too small, but the shower water is sufficient. The water temperature is very good.

We stayed in this hotel one night. Overall experience was positive The hotel is located on Kiel's ”flordo” in a strategic position for those who have to take off for cruises (10 minutes walk from the terminal), it is also near the railway station and buses. The hotel has a private parking. Standard, clean and discreetly soundproofed rooms. nice staff. Excellent quality price ratio. Absolutely recommended.
