This is a great “Guest House”. We had a room with a view of the town and mountains. There was an adjoining room with bunkbeds for the kids. There are interesting antiques in the hallways, maybe from the older Gasthoff that is still there. Our room was modern and clean. We bought some bier and snacks and had a tasting in their bier garten overlooking the valley. I had six kinds of German meats for breakfast with fresh bread, cheese and fruit. The Swiss coffee machine ground the beans freshly for each cup of latte, cappuccino, or plain coffee. A motherly woman made us scrabbled eggs. We stayed at a castle, and the breakfast here was just as good! We went for a short hike on the paved trail, just above and behind the hotel.
