"The room was fairly standard. The bed was a bit narrow but otherwise comfortable. We liked the non-carpeted floor. There was a L'Or single-serve coffee machine in the room, much appreciated. Wifi was good. Breakfast was good. The flat-screen TV in the room was not at all ”smart”, apparently satellite input, poor reception, and only a very small fraction of the provided list of channels was actually available. The thermostat (?) in the room made odd noises several times per hour. There was no ventilator in the bathroom, and 2 of the lightbulbs in the bathroom were burnt out. The set of 3 electrical outlets at the desk were not functioning."

"The good: (1) Price is decent, located 1 stop away from Zurich HB. Also has Coop and Migros nearby. Some restaurants around the train station but not many choices. (2) Bed and pillows are very comfortable The not so great: (1) No kettle provided, so don’t expect any free coffee / tea in the room, which you will normally expect. You need to get down to the lobby to get hot water which is super inconvenient (2) No fridge in the room, so expect to consume all cold drinks etc unless you want lukewarm drinks (3) No safe in the room Technically, expect a super basic room with just bed, tv and toilet. Not something I expect from a Mercure brand."

"1. The room is small, the facilities are general, there is no air conditioning, there is an electric fan, so the room is a bit stuffy when the window is not opened. Breakfast is the restaurant on the first floor, very simple, ate three times, the staple food is exactly the same. 3. Every morning at four or five o'clock in the small square, there is a garbage truck to clean up, turning around, very noisy. Close to the road, modified motorcycles, too noisy. 5. The front desk staff is very good."

"The place is ten minutes drive from the downtown area on the outskirts of Zurich. Parking is very convenient and free, we are traveling by car so it is very friendly. Breakfast is generally not much. There is free coffee and water in the refrigerator on the first floor. Check-in and check-out are online and operate the front desk manually with working hours restrictions."

"My heartfelt thanks to the lovely Guest Service Agents Natali, Rafael and the young pretty lady. They are really helpful and professional in rendering help as well as getting my queries answered. The breakfast is nice though variety can be improved. I particularly love the museli cereal with big choco chunks. The kiwi they provided during breakfast is very sweet too. This apt is less than 15 mins walk from Altstetten. They provide all-in-one shampoo/bath wash/hand wash and body lotion. Do note that they do not have air con system."

"Design hotel. The style is very cool. The hotel is located in a place similar to an industrial park. The location is relatively remote and not very convenient for public transportation. The breakfast is also quite rich, and the reception staff is warm and helpful"

"I booked two rooms with a garden view, but one room faced the road and houses while the other faced the hotel's restaurant and some blocks of houses with a few trees. So, I guess it must be the ”garden view,” though clearly not all rooms have a true garden view—unless we have different definitions of a garden. The shower was ridiculously tiny, with a triangular shape. I believe any man larger than average would have difficulty using it. You can barely turn around in the shower, and the water flow is not stable, sometimes fast and sometimes slow. The breakfast was poor. The restaurant waitress did her very best, despite being the only one helping all the customers in the restaurant and also assisting with checkouts. It was clear how busy she was. However, we waited for more than 45 minutes for boiled eggs to be replenished in the buffet area. The fried eggs were very oily and not fluffy at all—if you've been to a cha chaan teng in Hong Kong, you know what I mean. The choices and amount of food were very limited, and we left with empty stomachs. It was probably the worst hotel breakfast ever."
