We chose this hotel for economic reasons. The fact that the only night staying and having a car was that it was not meaningful to spend the ”did” figures they ask in the hotels in the centre of Strasbourg, because the King Soleil is in the noise and if you don't have your own means, I would say that it is very unrecommendable: it is a four-star average, perhaps overpriced, but in Strasbourg it is so. I find that I have to pay breakfast in addition for the price of the room quite high and also the fact that the online price was cheaper and that I had to pay a cheaper price at my departure . I find it good that you can cancel the reservation until a certain time because sometimes the passengers cannot arrive at time because of road traffic or accident or even for a personal reason . The staff was very friendly and available, the room was quite spacious and the bed was very good at all, the bathroom was very good with the very spacious and pleasant shower. Properté rien à répéter just peut être ajouter un parfum d'atmosphère car cela sentait le fermé à notre arrivée !

I was told that breakfast was not included despite booking a plan with breakfast. The electrical equipment in the room is broken, and no matter how many times it is turned off, the electricity in the room automatically turns on after a certain time, so it is woken up by the lighting of the electricity every hour in the middle of the night, and I can't sleep well. The next day I was working from the morning, but I was hard with a headache due to lack of sleep. I don't recommend it.

Hotel limpo, pequeno mas confortável, café da manhã razoável. Chegamos 1h antes do horário de check in e a recepcionista não nos deixou esperar na recepção porque estava fechado, era sábado. Quando fomos tomar banho, à noite, não corria água no chuveiro. Um amigo, em outro quarto, ficou meia hora ensaboado sem ter água para finalizar o banho. O recepcionista da noite foi bastante atencioso.

Not talking dirt in the bunks (thankfully) but for as new as it seems, the shared spaces are rough. Bathrooms look rough, half the soap and dryers don’t work (not a good thing for hygiene obviously), the showers were always covered in water and hot water, up for debate. Next, the place is loud. Not hostel, a few people are chatting loud and certainly not 8pm, like the room was basically in the bar and the bar was busy (see next item) till after 1. Sure, we could have closed the window to help a bit but with no other airflow in the room, it’s a choice between super loud and hot/stuffy. Loud won. Last off, during my stay, they were hosting an event which meant a ton of people hanging around. Now the event was for a great purpose and that’s awesome and everyone was friendly too but it still meant the bar was basically taken over by locals who knew each other and filled up the community spaces, instead of a traveler or even a general bar vibe. Not a thrilling thing to find out after checking in. All that said, staff was great, super friendly when I checked in and around the place. The bar / restaurant is well done with a nice range of options and decent prices though I didn’t find the breakfast worth the buffet cost. Like the other locations, rooms are nicely done, bunks have good curtains, power, lights, all the makings of a 10/10, but not.

Reason for poor service. Room service ordered through portal, confirmation received through portal and email waited for over half an hour after requested time messaged restaurant twice no response. Then messaged front desk inly then to receive a call to say no room service that night an to come down to the bar if I want to. We had travelled for many hours and just wanted to relax in our room. So we did not bother with any refreshments. I think you may need to look this, it’s not good to let guests order and get confirmation for a service you are not providing that day. Maybe look at your processes.

The hotel is very comfortable and is very comfortable and is very comfortable and comfortable. Spacious, clean room with a large bathroom. A full breakfast. We have had a great stay and we will not hesitate to come back.

We recently stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4 with 2 young children (4 and 5). Booking was seamless and easy bar some confusion over whether breakfast was or wasn't included. The hotel is in a phenomenal location in Petite France, however bear in mind as it is on a pedestrianized street there is very limited parking at the property. This isn't an issue as there is a public garage close by and the hotel has a subsidized rate of €18.50/night. The building itself is beautiful and historic with plenty of period detail. The rooms are old but well equipped and clean and they have character(wooden floors/beams etc.) Ours was a family room so there was a set of bunks which the children really loved. The added benefit of a Nespresso machine also went down well with the caffeine addict parents. The bathroom was huge with a great shower. There were plenty of towels provided and the hotel toiletries were of decent quality. There were only small niggles within a great overall stay. Namely a lack of seating and supplies at breakfast on both mornings and also our room wasn't cleaned even though we had requested it and we had been out for 6 hours. Overall would recommend and stay again.

We stayed here for two nights and overall had a pleasant experience. Breakfast was adequate - not as good as some of the hotels in the chain, but serviceable. Really Good croissants! Parking is a bit of a mess. We arrived after 8pm both nights and got the last parking spot. Not sure what happens to those arriving later. Air conditioning worked well - important when it is ＞33 out! Biggest letdown was the internet though. Something really wrong with it. We had the last room in the hall and the connection strength was under 5mbs. Ping times to the router in the hotel were over 200ms. Even when working, would cut out for minutes at a time. With a family of four and wanting to load some fresh videos for the next part of the road trip, this was really disappointing and not up to normal IHG standards. Frustrating for a family holiday, but if you need Internet for business, this would have been a deal breaker.
