Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago/Schaumburg

Very clean. Loved our King suite, especially for the price!!! Food was good, but they had a bit of a hard time keeping up with hot items being stocked... It was pretty packed though, so it was understandable. They kindly gave me a late checkout so the kids could swim after breakfast... Pool is a little small and we're always a fan of a hotel with a hot tub (which this one doesn't have), but it was clean and did the job for the kiddos anyways. Overall, one of the best Hamptons we have been to and we will definitely go back when in the Chicago area.

Desk staff was extremely friendly and check in was quick. Beds were comfortable and room was relatively quiet.

We stayed here for 2 nights while in town for a funeral. Justin greeted us when we walked in and was super friendly making sure we had everything we needed. Every business deserves a Justin. The room was very clean; our room had a wall AC unit that had a constant fan option which is much appreciated as I need a fan to drown out my tinnitus while I sleep. The bed and pillows were comfortable (as we've come to expect from a Hampton) and the room was in very good condition. The gym is a proper gym for a hotel, with a good ceiling height and a good amount of space. It had a cable machine (with pullup bars), a peloton bike, a recumbent bike, three treadmills, and a weight bench with a dumbbell set ranging from 5 to 50 lbs. They had a couple mats for yoga or stretching, some weighted balls and I believe a couple things for mobility (I carry my own resistance bands), water and towels. The only thing we didn't see in there was wipes to wipe down the machines afterwards. Location wise, it's great, there are over 60 restaurants within half a mile and woodfield mall is right next door. Breakfast: they have 2 waffle machines (one single waffle and one with 4 mini waffles), two flavors regular and strawberry, then they had out some homefries or potatoes, some sort of sausage or bacon, some sort of eggs, some rolls and pastries, oatmeal, fruit (oranges and bananas), yogurt, bagels / muffins and I'm sure I'm missing a few things. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend.

Staff was friendly and hotel was clean. Only thing I would suggest is a microwave in the room so you don't have to go to the lobby to watch something up.

Staff were very accommodating and courteous. The property is well maintained. Overall, a great place to stay.

Was put in one room and the carpet tiles were not adhered and moving around, tripping hazard to me. The staff was quick to get us another room when brought to their attention. The second room carpet tiles were also coming up in the corners, but not to the point where they were moving.

Probably the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Justin at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet and the breakfast was exceptional - omelets, sausage, oatmeal with toppings. Good location to the mall.
