I didn’t stay at the hotel myself but called around noon to ask if they could delivery a bootle of wine to the dinner table for one of their guests who is celebrating a big birthday today. I wanted to pay for the bottle with my credit card; however, was informed by a quite impolite female staff member that I’m too late and that they cannot do it before they receive payment. When I asked if they, as a 4-star hotel, would not take any credit cards, the answer was NO. I’m very surprised, for one that a 4-star property does not accept credit cards, and for another how unfriendly the staff is, turning down an opportunity to generate business for their employer.

We have now eaten at the buffet several times and nothing has changed. The food is only lukewarm, very greasy and not replenished enough. There is also not always serving cutlery. At Easter there was enough lukewarm kale, which in my opinion no longer belongs on an Easter buffet. The whole salmon was just lying in the bones and was not replenished. A very unkempt, lukewarm buffet, and this has been the case every time we visit, with the hope that it will get better. A very strange concept and a very unfriendly boss who does not accept criticism. This was the last time we were there. We are locals and will not recommend the food to anyone.

Light and shadow... we ate there and it was simply delicious... friendly service, nice outdoor seating and all at a fair price... yay, we'll go there again... no sooner said than done... but the second time only the friendly waiter from the first visit was left... and unfortunately it wasn't just us... an older gentleman remarked that the plaice should have been thrown back into the sea when it was caught because it was so small... at the next table the beef fillet strips were commented on with "they had to die several times". We also had plaice twice... unfortunately ours was also more than manageable... the bacon cubes were very, very heavily fried... well, that was unfortunately nothing. Maybe the chef was just having a really bad day?!

Whitsun 2022, went there spontaneously for a meal for the first time. The service was absolutely friendly, the food was top-notch and very plentiful. Next up are the giant currywurst and scampi. After the wonderful experience, we are already looking forward to our next visit. We were very satisfied!

Due to an emergency hospital stay, we were unable to use the room we had booked. We wanted to find a solution and contact them by phone. Unfortunately, no one answered the phone for several hours. There was this unfriendly person on site again, who we couldn't talk to. The room was no longer available for us and had already been given to someone else. That means they are now charging us twice! It's a disgrace. We know it's different from other hotels. There was always a nice solution. They could have at least offered us a different time, but nothing came. There's really nothing you can do in an emergency and a little empathy would have been appreciated. The unfriendliness (which also came across in the previous emails) was underlined again. There were even threats to call the police. We are now stuck with the costs and the hotel is making twice as much money. "Thank you very much for that". Please think about whether you want to book there. Very unfriendly and uncooperative.

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend. The room was small, the bathroom was clearly showing its age, the towel rack fell out and the so-called "heated indoor pool" was only 18 degrees. Wir waren mit 12 Personen dort essen, totale Katastrophe. Schon beim Bestellen die erste Ernüchterung, für das Ändern einer Beilage werden 3€ fällig, das hatten wir auch noch nie. Wohlgemerkt nicht für eine hochwertigere Beilage, sondern einfach so pauschal. Nach 60 Minuten haben wir mal freundlich nachgefragt wann wir denn mit dem Essen rechnen könnten, da wurde uns nur läppisch geantwortet dass wir ja 12 Personen sind. Das stimmt zwar, aber wir waren auch die einzigen Gäste! Ok, kann die Küche halt nicht. Die Beilagen waren fast ok, das Fleisch leider gar nicht. Alles total tot gebraten, trocken und echt schlecht. Gemüse geschmacksneutral und sah nach TK aus. Leider 0 weiter zu empfehlen, war das schlechteste Essen/Service was wir in vielen Jahren Scharbeutz gegessen haben.

Schönes Zimmer, netter Service, leckeres Essen....wir kommen wieder, schon im Februar. Auch das Schwimmbad und die Sauna sind zu empfehlen, man kann ohne Sorge HP buchen, das Essen ist sehr reichlich und schmackhaft. Auch das Frühstück kann nicht besser sein.
