We loved this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and we had a terrific view of Munot. The town is absolutely charming and we enjoyed walking around everywhere — including to the Munot and the falls (about a 45-minute walk). The only negative point was that the bathroom door (a sliding door) did not close all the way and there was a bit of a crack so it was hard to be a bit discrete! We will stay here again when we return.

The hotel is located about a 10 minuet walk from the train station through the pretty town.The area is quiet ,There is a car park to the front and the church next door that seems to have quiet bells.Rooms at the font have a nice view of the Munot ( Fort ) and across the old town. There was no shortage of staff all very friendly and professional. Breakfast was fairly good with cold meats & cheeses etc. The bread was very nice and they had a good variety. The room I had 302 was at the front and fairly spacious with good light. There was no noise from outside and it was warm & comfortable.The only downside I could find was the noise from the bathroom in the room next door. I think the bathrooms were an addition in an old hotel and they didn't put enough soundproofing in so you can hear what is going on in the bathroom. The restaurant is very good and the food tasty.Service was also good and in the bar too. I would defiantly recommend a stay at this hotel in a lovely town

This hotel was booked for us by our bike tour company. We had one of the larger rooms with a step down to a living room. However, there was no air conditioning. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and welcoming. There is a nice restaurant outside but not very appealing as it looks onto a parking lot.

We loved the double room with Munot view. The room has comfortable beds, for me the pillow was too low/soft and a minibar / fridge is missing. The breakfast was amazing and you can boil your own egg, although it takes longer as water is not boiling, so calculate 10-11 minutes. Located at the edge of the old town you can easily walk everywhere. This also means that you are in the middle of people drinking and shouting in front of the hotel, but we dis not mind. The Spa is great and a place to relax, you get bathrobes at the reception. All in all a great stay

A modern hotel with nice rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel is located in the very centre of Schaffhausen and has good breakfast. The only negative was that the room smelled a bit moldy and when I looked into this I found that there was no ventilation at all- only by opening the windows. The service was nice and there is a small (very small) gym. It was easy to park the car just next to the hotel.

Very nice hotel, well located and staff was really great (front desk and restaurant). Room is ok, even if facing the street, not noisy! You can hear the church bell though every 15 min… was not really a problem for us. The bathroom is a bit small and old (shower not the greatest!) but ok. Breakfast was very good, we enjoyed the variety (fruits, breads, eggs, cheese, coffee, juices etc) and quality of food.

Spent 2 nights in the hotel. I couldn't use or test the wellness offer due to lack of time. The hotel is older but that gives it a nice charm. The room on the top floor was clean, nice view of the Munot, the bathroom was older and a bit cramped. The breakfast room has a pleasant older style with modern pictures. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and delicious. Especially the different types of cheese. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is central and the old town is therefore easy to reach on foot. The restaurant attached to it is great! 😋😋

The hotel is very centrally located and stylishly furnished. The wellness area is great, with a steam bath, saunas, Kneipp foot basin and relaxation room, nothing stands in the way of relaxation. Drinking water is ready, I would have been happy about tea. I can highly recommend Sandra Keller's massage, she knows how to relax muscles and ensure a feeling of well-being with a gentle facial massage. The dinner at the Kronenhof was delicious and the service was friendly, pleasant and attentive. The breakfast buffet had everything I could have wished for, I particularly liked the selection of cheeses and the teapots. I can highly recommend the hotel for a city trip or a short break.
