Ashburton House - B&B

Great place to stay. Excellent hosts. Great choice of breakfast, well cooked and presented. Very tasty ingredients. Accommodation is immaculate with lots of extra details. Would highly recommend. Great location too. Overall amazing experience.

Couldn’t fault this lovely B&B. The service was excellent, loved the way it’s decorated and the owners couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. Breakfast was fantastic with something for everyone and it was certainly of a size to set you up for the day. The location was great with easy access to the seafront either by car or on foot. If I ever go back to Scarborough I’d stay here again.

Everything about this place is brilliant, from the owners to the comfy rooms and beautiful breakfast. Owners can’t do enough and are so welcoming and friendly. Definitely one of the best there is. All the food is high end produce and the rooms were spotless with decent sized televisions in. I guarantee you will enjoy your stay.

Perfect hosts rooms are immaculate. Breakfast is amazing with a good selection including a specials board. Would highly recommend this B&B, this was second stay. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach and in the opposite direction it's a 10 minute walk to the train station

We went to Scarborough to see Simple Minds at Scarborough open air theatre and made a mini holiday of it. We stayed at Ashburton house,we stayed there from the Saturday until the Wednesday. We could not fault the accommodation me and my husband were in the main bedroom with a lovely comfy double bed flat screen television and ensuite shower bathroom.My mam was in the bedroom next door and had her own single bed flat television a settee and a small refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities plus bottles of fresh milk and water we could help ourselves to. The rooms were decorated to a high standard. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast a couple of times ,everything you could possibly want was on offer,the full English breakfast was cooked to a very high standard too. The hosts could not do enough for us. Thankyou for a really enjoyable stay.

Nice, quiet, clean, friendly hotel. Easy to get to town centre via a bridge to avoid hills. Gentle walk down to South bay and spa. Greeted on arrival, nice spacious clean room, comfortable bed. Only had breakfast on one day but it was lovely, and lots of choice. Worth ever penny!!!!!

Very welcoming owners, beautiful rooms, clean and tidy, excellent breakfast, warm atmosphere. Would highly recommend ample car parking, great advice about local areas to visit including transport links - would definitely stay again :)

The room with the 4 poster bed was much larger than expected and exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was really first class. Stayed for 4 nights and everything was perfect. Fantastic value for money and we will definitely be staying again. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with advice. My original review contained a spelling mistake hence the posting of the edited review.

Lovely b&b, friendly hosts and good location - 10 minutes walk to the front (South Bay) or into the town. Family room was great, with everything you need, plenty of space and a nice en-suite. Can highly recommend the breakfasts, in our view they are worth the extra charge. One of the best full English breakfasts I’ve had and the other breakfasts (smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, pancakes with various toppings) were also lovely. Plus really good value when children are accompanied by two adults, as children then eat for a discounted rate.
