Having already sampled the fabulous food in their Reflections restaurant I decided to treat my husband to a 3 night stay in the hotel to celebrate a special birthday. Upon arrival we could tell immediately that we had made the right choice. The hotel is in a great location. There are a few steps up to the entrance which might be difficult for those with mobility issues and i would imagine it would not be suitable for disabled visitors. We were greeted with happy friendly staff on reception and given help with our cases into the lift and up to room 21 on the 2nd floor. Our room was beautifully light and spacious and tastefully decorated with plenty of storage space. The beds were very comfortable and there was a dressing table with a stool and a chair to relax in. There was a refreshments tray with a good selection of drinks and even a few biscuits, an iron and ironing board and a hairdryer. Our French doors opened onto a Juliet balcony overlooking a busy roundabout and there was a distant view of the sea. The separate bathroom was clean and spacious with complimentary shower gel and hand soap. We slept well but were awoken by very loud seagulls but that’s all part of staying at a seaside resort. I would suggest taking some earplugs if this is likely to bother you. We had booked breakfasts at the hotel - another good choice!!There are a selection of cereals, fruit juices and bowls of grapefruit and orange segments, fruit salad and prunes to help yourself to. At your table your server takes your order for hot drinks and toast and there is a choice of full English breakfast, poached haddock and poached egg, smoked kippers or creamy porridge. There are also pots of jams, marmalade and marmite for your toast. Nothing is too much bother for the lovely staff in this hotel. The food is hot, fresh and very tasty! I have to give a special shout out to Richard who is an absolute asset to this hotel! He is hard working and always on the go willing to go that extra mile to meet the guests needs. He seemed to be everywhere - on reception, on the bar, helping with housework, serving food ! On our final night we dined in Reflections and it was every bit as excellent as we had remembered . There was a 3 course fixed price menu with plenty of selections for each course. The food was beautifully presented and delicious! Fine dining at its finest! We will return to this hotel- keep up your high standards ‘The Crescent Hotel’ and congratulations on having some of the friendliest staff we have encountered on our many trips!

My experience at the Crescent Hotel was delightful. My first week there, I stayed in a superior room. Last week in Scarborough, I stayed in a more modern room. Both rooms were spacious and comfortable. I adore the beauty of the first room and the entire hotel. Breakfast was included with your stay. They had a modest breakfast bar. They serve delicious food that their chefs prepared every day until 9 p.m. The pub always offers daily specials, which begin at 12 p.m. The dinner menu provides a wide variety of options. There is a bar on the ground floor for guests to sit and unwind. They also have a pub attached to the hotel, which is reached by passing past the receptionist and down a flight of stairs. You should come stop by and check out what the Crescent Hotel has on the weekends. You won't be disappointed. On Thursdays, they have SwingDance. Friday, they have Open Mic Night. On Saturday, they have the Eastside Soul Club. The music is always popping off in there. They are not far from the seafront or local attractions. You can either walk or take the bus. The staff makes your stay warm and welcoming. I can't thank them enough for making my stay feel right at home. Once again, thank you to Nadine, Denise, Leanne, Moe, Marina, Estelle, Paul, Vic, Jess, Jake, Richard, Ashley, and Thank you also to the chefs. I apologize if I forgot anyone.

We have never stayed at this hotel before but decided to give it a go for a short 2 night stay in between Christmas and New Year and we were not disappointed. We arrived early and was greeted by a lovely Receptionist who informed us that our room was ready which was great. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special and all the staff were so friendly and a credit to the hotel. Our room number 15 was lovely and had everything we need. We ate in the restaurant and the 3 course meal was superb as was the lovely breakfast, so much choice and nothing was toom much trouble. You can get a parking permit from Reception for £6 daily which is great and we did not have much trouble finding a spot around the crescent to leave our vehicle. The hotel is dog friendly which did not bother us and there were so lovely dogs there during our stay and I must say well behaved and we never heard them at all. We will stay here again but book direct as opposed to ***********. Well done to all the staff from the cleaners to the lovely guy in the restaurant and especially the Reception staff you are amazing thank you.

Had a one night stay here this week to go to a concert at the Open Air Theatre. Our son and daughter booked it for us as gift so didn’t really know what the expect when we got there. What a lovely surprise, the hotel was perfect, we had room 22 on the second floor which was a gorgeous corner room with French doors going out into a balcony overlooking the gardens opposite. Bathroom and shower were great, bed was comfy and we had a brilliant quiet nights sleep. Breakfast was really good, a choice of cereals, juices, yoghurt and fruit from a buffet which were all individually wrapped and branded, we like this. This was followed by a cooked breakfast served to our table. I had the full English (without black pudding) and my husband had the veggie option. We had tea for 2 (teapot and hot water) and a rack of toast. Both breakfasts were hot, really tasty and served with a smile. Check in and out was easy and again, staff were really friendly and welcoming. Definitely our “go to” hotel next time we visit Scarbrough

Just been for a festive get-together meal with friends. The surroundings were lovely and the table well equipped with everything needed for a Christmas celebration. The staff were all attentive and pleasant. The three course meal itself was excellent and the main course was piping hot (that isn’t always the case in some restaurants when serving large festive meal parties) We found the bar prices to be moderate for a hotel too. All in all a lovely night. Would definitely recommend.

We live in the area, so didn't stay, but went for a special occasion lunch. Initially when we went in to book we were regretfully told that the a la carte menu was available only in the evenings. However the Manager/owner (?) asked us to wait, went to talk to the chef, he would be there at lunchtime on the day and was happy to cook us lunch from the a la carte menu for our small party. A couple of weeks later when we arrived, they guessed that this was our wedding (posies and a button hole...) and redressed our already prettily styled table, and gave us complimentary prosecco and drinks. Service was excellent - and the food? Beautifully presented and delicious, made our special day even more memorable.

We have stayed here several times and it never disappoints. Staff are exceptionally friendly and food is excellent, both breakfast and dinner in the Reflections restaurant. We always go for an executive room which is enormous and well appointed. If you want a quality experience in a great location this hotel can't be beaten for a stay in Scarborough.
