Easter in Whitby
A big, spacious and very substantial house rather than a cottage. Full of character and old charm. Located in the very centre of Whitby so close to anywhere you want to go. It’s a cobblestoned street, narrow, quirky and full of history. Only one inconvenience was lack of outside parking. You can unload your luggage in front of the house and the host supplies a parking pass so you can park free at nearby car park. However the pass doesn’t warrant a space. I supposed it’s something you need to put up with if you want to stay at such a cool location. We had a great time and most definitely would stay there again!

Perfect location & cosy stay
A great holiday home in a perfect central location. Bigger than expected which was a nice surprise with a gorgeous bathroom. Warm & cosy with plenty of hot water for baths & showers. Lots of original features and a secret little outside hideaway sun trap at the back perfect for a morning cuppa. Easy to unload luggage despite being such a narrow one way road and lovely and clean through out. Can highly recommend. The constant contact with the friendly host was reassuring and the surprise early check in time was a real bonus. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Competitive price and a great location
From receiving the arrival details to leaving the property at the end of our stay, we couldn’t fault a single thing. Hilda was informative regarding the check in procedure, there were biscuits crisps and pop on the table for us, and the house was lovely and warm. The cosy electric ‘log burner’ style fire made the lounge feel even more cosy The property was extremely clean, the bedding lovely and the beds comfy. The property is located in an excellent spot right in the heart of things which we felt was perfect for our weekend break and yet was still nice and quiet whenever we were indoors.
We would definitely stay here again.
