From 1 to 7 September I had the displeasure of staying, together with my family (stay + breakfast) at the Hotel Poseidon; a structure that in no way reflects a 4-star hotel. This can be seen from various factors, such as: little maintenance of the structure itself as in my room there was a large ***** of mold mixed with dust in the air conditioner and therefore unusable, lift without any motor sensor (for this reason my mother-in-law she hurt her hand) poor cleanliness of the swimming pool and adjoining area (in a week it was never cleaned), poor cleanliness of the beach (full of algae, papers, plastic, caps, etc.), furthermore it was present on the site a long list of recreational and non-fun activities, for adults and children, but only upon our arrival did we learn that they would never take place. On the first evening, being quite tired after a long journey, we decide to have dinner on site, a dinner based on seafood dishes and super poor quality vegetables. However, when the balance arrived we realized that there had been a calculation error. We immediately report the problem (and I calmly point out to those in charge), but from a small inconvenience a real useless mess has been created. From then on, several members of the staff, including the blonde receptionist, never looked at us or even said a simple hello again. Truly madness and rudeness mixed with a lack of empathy towards the customer. Fortunately, there is the other side of the coin, the positive and polite one, found in other parts of the staff such as the room boys, the cleaners, the brunette receptionist. Positive note of the stay: breathtaking view at sunset and enchanting water!
