Excellent location, large parking available for free. Excellent cleanliness, clean beach, beautiful sea. Swimming pool on the beach. A wedding favor, a corner of diamond paradise. 2.5 km from the center of the village of Diamante, a quiet corner away from the chaos.. highly recommended for those who want a holiday with a beautiful sea, services and tranquility

Hotel with private beach, well-kept location and very knowledgeable, friendly and super professional staff. Everything perfect from the room to the dinner, from the breakfast to the beach, accurate service. Staff (everyone from the cleaning ladies to the maitre d') always very attentive and thoughtful. Location with high-impact materials ... Art Nouveau style and wonderful internal stairs. Very pleasant swimming pool but the SEA is the real king! Come and you will have a great time. We will return! If I had to make a very small note for the future... slowly renovate the bathroom.

The structure is certainly dated but clean, welcoming, with all services. Having the room above the pool we were afraid of the noises of the piano bar and/or people but the windows and doors soundproof perfectly. Sea front, small swimming pool, clean but with few sunbeds. Cozy restaurant and more than helpful staff. The only thing that I honestly don't understand is that despite full board they also make you pay for the first bottle of water separately. The parking was a little inconvenient because it was narrow, otherwise an impeccable stay. We'll be back

Hotel located in an excellent position directly on the sea and with a splendid beach, ideal for both families with small children and adults. Environments always clean, even if in need of modernization, courteous and helpful staff (restaurant staff, reception, lifeguard, cleaners). Despite this, in my opinion, I do not rate it a 4 star hotel. The sore points I found are the following: breakfast not very varied; side dish buffet (both for lunch and dinner) not set up in special food-warming containers; despite having chosen full board, water and/or other drinks were not included; non-soundproof rooms (I underline this because the structure is located next to the municipal road and the railway); given that the structure allows dogs to enter, I recommend setting up an area dedicated to them to prevent them from annoying with their continuous barking ,guests (both on the beach, in the restaurant, and in other common areas).

From 1 to 7 September I had the displeasure of staying, together with my family (stay + breakfast) at the Hotel Poseidon; a structure that in no way reflects a 4-star hotel. This can be seen from various factors, such as: little maintenance of the structure itself as in my room there was a large ***** of mold mixed with dust in the air conditioner and therefore unusable, lift without any motor sensor (for this reason my mother-in-law she hurt her hand) poor cleanliness of the swimming pool and adjoining area (in a week it was never cleaned), poor cleanliness of the beach (full of algae, papers, plastic, caps, etc.), furthermore it was present on the site a long list of recreational and non-fun activities, for adults and children, but only upon our arrival did we learn that they would never take place. On the first evening, being quite tired after a long journey, we decide to have dinner on site, a dinner based on seafood dishes and super poor quality vegetables. However, when the balance arrived we realized that there had been a calculation error. We immediately report the problem (and I calmly point out to those in charge), but from a small inconvenience a real useless mess has been created. From then on, several members of the staff, including the blonde receptionist, never looked at us or even said a simple hello again. Truly madness and rudeness mixed with a lack of empathy towards the customer. Fortunately, there is the other side of the coin, the positive and polite one, found in other parts of the staff such as the room boys, the cleaners, the brunette receptionist. Positive note of the stay: breathtaking view at sunset and enchanting water!

Simple but quality cuisine. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant which works almost exclusively for all-inclusive guests. However I ate very well, no elaborate dishes but very fresh fish. Family but nice hotel directly on the beach.

I have been a regular customer for almost 4 years even though I have a house nearby, because the real holiday is spent in a hotel... however efficient staff and the concierge are two very exquisite women and the very knowledgeable manager... rooms and laundry service on top. Well-stocked breakfast and very friendly bar staff, gardener and night porter. As always we will return....Vincenzo Russo and Sonia Tomasos

Great hotel on the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed 19-22 July 2023 in the annex on 2 p. with a large terrace available in the middle of an enchanting and well-kept garden by the excellent and scrupulous gardener Francesco.... I advise the managers not to miss it. Messrs. Antonio and Lucia from Potenza - Italy - Good breakfast, did not use meals.

As always, this year too the Poseidon did not betray our expectations. We had been missing for 3 years and the nostalgia for this place was so great....peace, tranquility, excellent cuisine, helpful and kind staff, our dear maitre d', the legendary girls at the reception, Francesco the tireless worker gardener, the very nice attentive lifeguard and thoughtful....everything contributes to making this hotel, located directly on the beach, a UNIQUE place!!!!!!!!!This is home for us, a dive into the 80s. This is what we like, the years pass, but Poseidon is always there waiting for us!!! Special thanks to the legendary director. Piano bar arrhythmia
