Sahab Resort and Spa, Jabal Al Akhdar

We traveled around Oman by car. At the foot of the mountain at the police post, we were asked to rent a higher car with a driver, we left our car in the parking lot. As you know, hotel check-in takes place at 14:00. We arrived at 16:00. At the reception we were asked to wait 30 minutes as our room was not ready! When we finally got to the room, we found men's clothes in the closet - bravo, cleaning! The room itself is tiny with badly cracked corners on the furniture. The hotel area is small but cozy. It was raining that day. All the chairs and tables on the street were flooded with water, there was not a single place where one could sit outside under a canopy, everything was wet. The veranda area of ​​the bungalow is fenced with decorative bushes that no one cuts. The entrance to our room was literally overgrown with these bushes and we had to rub against wet branches. For dinner we went to another hotel nearby where we had a great time after dinner sipping shisha on the outdoor terrace (which was dry and not dripping!). Breakfast. There was nothing to eat but eggs. Very small restaurant. Why was the hotel given 4*?
