(+) Campanile is a perfect mid-range option, if you want to stay in the central part of Martigny. You will like the bed, if soft matress and soft pillow is what you prefer. There is a coffee machine in the room. Breakfast is 15CHF but you get various options: omelette, bacon, sausages, cereals, yogurt, fruits, cheese, salami, fresh pastry, coffee, fresh orange juice. We went to the mountains and every day we could get hot water in our thermos. The personnel is friendly and helpful but not all speak English. Parking is on the back side of the hotel and free of charge. AC is well placed and does not blow into the face, as you can see in other hotels. The hotel has a couple of chilling areas, where you can read or drink a beer. It has good sound proofing windows and totally dark curtains. If you wish to drink a beer or wine, Sunset bar is just downstairs. There is also a restaurant specialized on beef on the ground floor. A few nice restaurants are in the walking distance (10-15 min). (-) Unfortunately, there is no fridge in the room. The view is not so nice. We stayed in room 205 and had a window to parking.

This is a solid 4 star hotel that is perfect for a few days skiing in the 4-vallées region: Pros: • comfortable and spacious rooms with very nice bathrooms • close to main ski lift so that can be on gondola within 5 mins of leaving hotel • Close to all restaurants etc that Nendaz has to offer • Nice breakfast included • Nice spa (free for hotel guests) Cons: • Swiss prices !!!! • not ski-in/out • hotel doesn’t have much of an atmosphere • boot and ski room accessed via car parking area which is not very pleasant • Spa can get full of non-hotel guests(paying guests) All-in-all this is a great location if you want to ski the 4-vallees area (but don’t fancy Verbier). The hotel is fine although it wouldn’t warrant a premium price over other local options.

Quality of this hotel well exceeded our expectation. The room is very spacious with good amenities and beautiful views from the balcony. Food served at the breakfast is great and we enjoyed dining at the outdoor terrace with fresh air and fantastic view. The hotel is located in the center of the village with restaurants and shops within a short walk. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi a lot and it is as big as a small indoor swimming pool. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We had the chance to meet and talk to the new owner who has made lots of efforts to make it an upscale property while still charge very reasonable rates. We are lucky to have chosen this hotel for our short stay in the village during this summer and will definitely stay here again for a ski holiday next time.

Room was spacious, with a nice view on the mountains, the train station nearby was not giving too much noise. Very comfortable bed. We enjoyed chicken burger in the evening and breakfast with fruits, home made jams, good bread and eggs. It's fantastic that handicap people get opportunity here to integrate. Staff was very helpful and friendly with kids. We would chose again Boutique Hotel for our stay in Martigny.

We booked this suite direct after contacting the hotel asking for room rates & availability. They suggested the suite would suit our family group (myself, partner & 2 girls in their 20s). They were right. The suite had a large room with king size bed, sofa / lounge area with TV & balcony with a fabulous view of the mountains. Another large room with 2 single beds & TV was great for the girls & we shared a well appointed bathroom with bath & shower. We were together but had plenty of space. Everything was tastefully decorated & super comfortable. We opted for breakfast at the reduced ‘book ahead’ rate which was good value, but would have been perfect with a hot option of bacon and / or sausage. The hotel is very conveniently located opposite the cog railway to the ski slopes. It had a good heated ski / boot room & free parking right outside the hotel. Staff are friendly & attentive. We booked reduced rate tickets to the Villars Spa which was lovely & a short walk away. The hotel provided towels. We enjoyed a meal in the hotel on one evening which was lovely & reasonable value with the included side dishes. Hotel & restaurant highly recommended & would definitely book again.

The European self-driving route through the Swiss Alps was blocked by heavy snow. When we were helpless and in need of help, Mr. Anmir passed by. He helped us to contact the police for help. It also helped us to remove the snow under the wheels and let us back up. Going down the mountain and helping us communicate to buy the snow chains also help us to check out the route that we can go to Rome tomorrow. Since the Swiss weekend is closed, the door can only be solved tomorrow, so he drove us down to the bar he opened. The inn, I feel that it is really great after coming in. It is clean and warmer than any of the five-star hotels we stay in. The people here are very popular. The people in the town are drinking beer and singing songs watching everyone in the game. The face is full of laughter, grateful for this encounter, let us experience the best trip of this trip to Europe.      Founded in 1910, the Amer's Bar Inn has a centuries-old history at the foot of the Matterhorn in Switzerland's three most famous ski paradise. It is just a train station in front of the hotel. It is easily accessible to skiers and local towns. The residents are constantly coming to eat, stay, drink and watch the game. It is seen from Mr. Anmir that his ancestors not only passed on the pub, but also gave him a warm and helpful attitude, and a great service concept. . A Swiss inn can make the service to the extreme, and it can also prove that the Swiss hotel service is a fine detail, which makes people warm and comfortable. I wish their inn and bar will always be booming and continue to be passed down for centuries and millennium.         The Anmirs are paying homage, thank you for your help in Switzerland, like the mascots you have sent and the red wine, and hope that you will like the Chinese tea and beef sauce we sent. MidiGuestrooms was a great place to stay. Very central in Martigny. Our very clean room was great. It had everything we needed. The bed was extremely large and comfortable. The bathroom had shampoos and soap. Check-in was super easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Our recent stay at Villars Palace, while punctuated by several positive aspects, unfortunately proved to be a bad experience marred by very serious issues. Positive Aspects: Friendly Staff: The majority of the staff, including Zoe at Concierge, Daniil who helped us with check-in, the receptionists, and the luggage assistance team, were kind and greeted us with smiles. Breathtaking Views: The views from the reception, the Bar, and the 1913 restaurant were truly breathtaking, contributing to a pleasant ambiance within the hotel. Modern Renovation: The hotel has undergone a commendable renovation, presenting a modern and updated feel in most areas. Spacious Junior Suite: Our Junior Suite was generously spacious, featuring two separate bathrooms for added convenience. Quality Amenities: The towels, bathrobes, and slippers provided were of high quality, contributing positively to our overall comfort. Excellent Spa Treatment: The spa treatment my wife received was excellent, showcasing a commendable aspect of the hotel's services. Good Breakfast: The breakfast was satisfying and at 5-star standards, providing a positive start to our days. Convenient Origins Bar: The Origins Bar, offering free soft drinks and a coffee machine, was conveniently located near our room, proving to be a practical amenity. Issues Encountered: Hygiene: We found several pieces of hair in our bed upon entering the room, an issue that should never be overlooked in a reputable hotel. Security Concerns: When we returned to the hotel on the second day, we found our door wide open, and the room card missing, posing a serious security risk to our belongings. Technical Issues: Both heaters in our room didn't work, leading to multiple calls to the reception and a prolonged visit from a technician. Miserable Christmas Eve Dinner: The Christmas Eve dinner lacked festive elements, including decoration, appropriate lighting, and suitable music. The buffet lacked essential options like beef, pork, and vegetables. Poor Food Quality at the Bar: Overpriced food with subpar quality at the Bar, exemplified by my wife's untouched Caesar's salad due to dry and overcooked chicken. Lack of Apology Gesture: Despite bringing these issues to the attention of the reception, we only received reassurances that future occurrences would be prevented. 2-hour Delay for Room Service: On our last day and after receiving the aforementioned reassurances, our room service order experienced a huge delay, taking exactly 2 hours to arrive. In conclusion, while we appreciate the positive aspects of our stay, the serious issues we encountered, coupled with the lack of acknowledgment from the hotel, overshadow everything. Spending almost 3,000 Euros for a 3-day stay, we expected a premium experience but were met with a very problematic stay. Any promises of a better experience in the future hold little value, as a trip to Switzerland is not so easy for us, and our next visit would likely involve exploring other intere
