A boutique hotel remodeled from an old house, with a total of 12 rooms, which are slightly cramped in size, especially the bathrooms. It is very close to the sea, a few minutes walk to the sea organ, there are many restaurants around, and the location is super good. The breakfast area is very small, right next to the front desk, four tables and dining tables are all set up temporarily. Although the sparrow is small and well-equipped, apart from not freshly cooked, cold meals, meat, cheese, bread, dessert, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea bags, etc. are all available. Apple pie and cereal yogurt are also very delicious~ this is recommended for visiting Zadar Old Town. .

The hotel is located on the main road in the center of the old city, the old city is not big, so it takes a few minutes to walk to any scenic spot, and the location is very good. If it is a self-driving car, the car must be parked outside the old town, contact the staff in advance, the staff will come out to pick you up, and it will only take two minutes to walk in. The decoration of the hotel is very new, I like the modern and simple style very much. The room is not big but the bathroom is not small, the bath water is large and comfortable, there is no kettle, but there are slippers but the quality is a bit poor. Breakfast is of course simpler than a four-star and five-star hotel. The staff are very warm and friendly.

Stayed in Hotel Adriana during May. Beautiful environment and ambience. The hotel is wonderful, the energy is particularly soothing. Room had a delightful Mediterranean vibe. Beautiful park with a view of the sea. The hotel has a wonderful outdoor terrace that is also a dining room and resembles an atrium among trees. The Food is so delicious. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to the hotel manager Nina, for her commitment to hospitality, which made us really feel like at home. We send her many greetings. If you want a quality and peaceful vacation with wonderful activities that Falkensteiner resorts provide for their guests, this is the place for you. A big plus for Pet Friendly Hotel Adriana.

Rooms are basic and even though I upgraded i don't see there was one. 3 meals per day at set times and no snacks inbetween or available to buy. Lovely view of sea from the pool area. Pool and bar very clean. Cocktails are not that great especially when buying them. Air con on but not noticeable in the room so very muggy. (We slept with gallons door open for a little breeze) Can only turn on or off. No individual temperature control. Meals are in the other building just through the carpark and sadly we had a school trip of some description wanting to eat the same time as us which was off putting. Tables and chairs are set up by the pool with the sun loungers down a few stairs on the grassed area. (Unfortunately, they are roped together so not much movement) They are mostly under some trees so you are either in the sun or not. They do come to clean the rooms everyday but we declined as wanted our windows left open for the breeze.

Advantages: The front desk lady is very good, there is no elevator to help carry the suitcase, breakfast is quite rich, parking is free. Disadvantages: Compared with our Chinese people, we do not recommend this homestay. The hardware facilities are poor. I asked the front desk for the sheets. The shower room is too small, there is no place to put things, and it is difficult to turn around. The room is old and simple.

Unfortunately, this place is far from a 5* experience. The staff is generally friendly, and most of them are trying their best, but so much is just wrong here. First of all - this place brags about ”fine dining” but it only offered a fixed menu with a choice between 2 starters and 3 main courses. The hotel homepage brags about ”fine dining”, but only mentions in print that restaurants are ”open seasonally” - what does it even mean? When is ”season”? Sorry, a 5* place should have better culinary offer, especially when it lure its guests by ”fine dining” choices. There was no choice here. Then the room. How can there be no power outlets in the room? Yes, there is one outlet on the floor, right next to the door, and yes, there are two outlets at the wash basin. But nothing next to bed where I could for example want to both charge and use my phone. I couldn't use my laptop at the desk, because I had no place to plug it in. This is 2024, people are travelling with two, three devices a person. The bathtub is right next to the bed. You can't see half the TV screen while in the bed (because it's positioned on a very low cabinet, with a couch in between the bed and the TV). The TV is a modern smart TV, but the hotel disabled Netflix on it (and this TV does support it - only when you try to access it, it say that it's disabled). The WiFi is either too slow, or not working at all, there are places in the hotel where it is just not accessible. There are no body-sized towels - the only towels we had in our room were hand/face towels. How can a 5* hotel do all this? The restaurant provides no privacy. The tables are positioned so close to one another, that if you are a couple, you are sitting right next to another couple almost as if it was a table for 4. You can't even have a decent private chat without feeling like everybody can hear you. Funny enough - they could arrange the tables to give you more privacy, they just choose not to. On our second morning, the restaurant was full at breakfast, we thought we were lucky to find a free table (with 0 privacy, mind you!), but when another couple arrived, they opened up another section of the restaurant which was completely readied, just intentionally not made available until the very last moment. Come on! I would expect this from a cheap diner, not the only restaurant in a 5* hotel! If you have an electric car, please avoid this place. They have a grand total of 3 chargers - one of which doesn't work. One charger was constantly occupied by a car that never moved during our entire stay! The night before the departure we ask the valet to charge our car, and he promises to do that, but when I wake up at 6AM I see that my car isn't charged at all and that there is a charging error. I walk down to reception, and receptionist tells me that ”we have problems with that charger” - well, I asked for my car to be charged, not plugged in! I have no use for my car being plugged into a charger that the hotel knows is faulty
