This is a really nice place to stay if you are visiting Savannakhet. It is very 'low-key', located in a quiet neighbourhood and very good value. We stay one night recently. The rooms (there are three) are air conditioned, spacious, very clean and very comfortable. All of them are en-suite. Niko is a very good host. Highly recommended.

We have been directly on site without booking online and that is what we recommend to do to make substantial savings. The Wi-Fi was low and sometimes could disappear sporadically. All was seriously disrupted at the third morning, while breakfast was served on the terrace of the second floor for a large French bus on a tour. It was only for them that was normal, given that it was in buffet according to our discrete comments. We told us we would order our breakfast in the reception lobby a little later as we did in the previous two mornings. It was 9:00 when we went down and found there was nothing on the courtyard or even coffee. However, breakfast was served up to 10:00. We were told we could still order. We have two cups of very cold coffee, we felt we were a burden without any explanation given the barrier of the language. We legitimately asked for hot coffee and only a cup was brought. There was a climate of joke and discomfort that was regained on the ground by the young staff and we did not appreciate it. Some rooms have a weak WiFi signal and the dining is delicious. There is a park next to the hotel, suitable for walking and exercise, there are many places to eat nearby, the night market is also very close, many people who come here to go to the Thai embassy in Laos for long-term visas, can spend money to do it, much more convenient than domestic.

The hotel is not bad, it took me a while to find a hotel. The breakfast is good, and there is also a drop-off service. The breakfast is Thai barbecue, drinks, rice, etc. It is a bit wasteful to eat it by one person. If it is suitable for two people, it is already the best hotel in this place!
