I have had one of the best experiences in this resort. The location is perfect especially if you’re in Laos for visa run purposes. It’s about a 5 minutes drive to savhanaket embassy, about 10 minutes to the Mukdahan border. So for that purpose (Visa run), its location is perfect. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they offer a free drop off to the border after checking out. Although there are no restaurants in close proximity to the resort, it has nice restaurants inside, a casino and a few coffee shops. I would definitely book this place again. It’s clean, the rooms are big…definitely value for money.

Excellent experience whilst visiting the Thai Embassy. Beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Great place to relax with great food. Thank you to Otto and the team for making a stressful experience very pleasant, and for the extra help with transport, even a free shuttle bus across the border. I'd recommend to anyone looking to relax whilst waiting for their documents, and would definitely visit again 😊.

Service and restaurant was great! but the access is limited! you probably need to take taxi from the bus terminal!

Terrible

The hotel is a 5-star hotel with good value for money, but since it is a hotel with a casino as its main location, it is inconvenient to enter and exit due to bag checks and body searches, and because it is far from the city center, you have to endure the inconvenience of always having to call a taxi. In conclusion, I do not recommend it.

Although it can't be helped that the facilities are old, the poor maintenance was noticeable. The card key was broken, the plug for the hot water kettle was bent and unusable, the plug for the bathtub drain was broken so the water couldn't drain, the glass door of the bathtub was hard to close, etc.

Everything is good enough, but the bed is very hard, my back hurts a lot and I wake up. I don't think I'll come again.

Where did you come to Laos? Come stay here regularly, delicious food and convenient travel. There is a shuttle bus from the Thai side to the Lao side.

The room is large and very clean. The environment is considered a better hotel in Savannakhet

It was the worst hotel I've visited. Starting from the check-in, staff doesn't know how to explain things around the hotel. Don't even know how to speak simple English, they will instantly call the manager to speak with us and inform us about everything. Everywhere smells cigarette smoke. Even in the room, it says no smoking but it smells like smoking. The bed wasn't the most comfortable bed ever and the bathroom was so dirty, it seemed like the staff didn't dare to clean it at all. When we called for room service to order 2 sets of french fries, they literally dropped the phone. It was very rude and we called again and started complaining about the rudeness of the staff. How come this hotel is a 5-star lol doesn't even look like it. Don't dare to stay here you'll just get frustrated.
