The hotel is lovely to look at from the outside, the grounds are very nice and well kept with mature trees. The pool is beautiful with plenty of sun loungers and parasols, also a bar. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. All the staff without exception were friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and evening meals. We only intended to stay one night but stayed for two and explored Avallon because we enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend we would love to stay again.

Nice place but not ideal for a triple room
I stayed one night with 2 friends in a triple room - but we were told at the time of booking that we could be provided with 3 single beds. Turned out not to be the case as our room had a double and a single bed and it was not possible to get 3 single beds. We survived that for one night - but cannot accept to share a bed with a double duvet - so asked reception for an extra duvet. The receptionist tried her best but was only able to provide an extra blanket and a sheet - so not ideal.
The highlight for us was no doubt the restaurant. They had a very interesting menu and with some delicious food. The salmon starter I had is one of the best starters I have ever tasted in my life - so a big compliment to the chef.
The place also had a nice swimming pool but unfortunately we were there on a rainy day - so didn't get to use it.

Returning from the South of France, Sauvigny was an ideal stop midway to the channel. This hotel, being part of the Logis de France group, seemed to tick all the right boxes; we chose it and it did. The accommodation is comfortable and ideally set up with the ability to be able to park the car right by the room. The large pool is a bonus. Clearly, it is a noted place to dine as the restaurant was pretty full. We made the mistake of not reserving a table, thinking it would be no problem when we arrived but after a few anxious moments they did manage to squeeze us in. Its otherwise a trip into Avallon, so booking a table is a must. Its worth it. The food was good and reasonably priced, as was the wine. There were "amuse bouches" as well which was a plus and the waiters were polite and efficient. If making the same journey again we would stop here, it was a good choice.

Nice hotel with clean and decent rooms. The complex does however seem to be in need of some updates. The tennis courts are in terrible shape and the exterior of the buildings behind the main building is not very attractive. There was no service at the pool, but still a very nice relaxing area. Restoration could do a lot here.

Very beautiful domain Good friendly staff Food average poor products No extras on the plate Cheese plate no grapes 17 euro Green salad poorly seasoned 8 euro Other salad no choice Boeuf with morilles excellent 38 euro No fries for adults, only for bambinos😄 Room sufficient No refrigerator Airco did not work properly With dogs access 15 euro a night per dog But very good, they credit my card when i went home earlier.

Du jamais vu !!!!! Nous arrivons à l’hôtel à dix huit heures après une longue route et on nous annonce que notre réservation a été annulée car tout le personnel sait fait licencier !!!!! Nous n’avons pas été informé avant ce qui nous a mit dans le pétrin car nous avons dû chercher un autre hôtel pour y passer ces fameux trois jours !!!!! C’est vraiment scandaleux !!!! Surtout qu’on ne nous avait pas prévenu à l’avance !!!!! Courez , le plus vite possible loin de cet hôtel !!!!!

Repas d'anniversaire des 10 ans de notre mère. Très déçus de la prestation offerte. La salle attribuée pour ce repas ne correspondait pas à celle inscrite sur le devis. Salle sombre, plafond très bas, pas d'aération, mauvaise odeur, et WC inadaptés aux personnes à mobilité réduite (fauteuil roulant : cas de notre mère). Bien sur, ils possèdent des WC adaptés bien éloignés de cette salle et nous n'en avons été informés qu'après. Manque de professionnalisme L'organisation des tables ne nous a pas été proposée... Grosse déception sur le repas : pas d'originalité , parts inégales sur le plat principal. Repas simple, gustativement dans l'ensemble correct mais manquant de raffinement, de présentation. Le dessert était néanmoins excellent, mais rapport qualité/prix pas présent. Nous nous accordons à signaler que les serveuses ont fait part de professionnalisme. Efficaces, serviables, attentives et charmantes. Les photos et les commentaires concernant la restauration présentées sur le site de cet établissement sont prometteuses mais trompeuses. Il y a la devanture et la réalité.Nous pensons que tous les clients ne sont pas CONSIDÉRÉS de la même façon, avec le même"respect". Nous n'avons pas eu le choix, au pied du mur, de faire bonne figure contre bon cœur. Loin d'être des personnes "procédurières" et exigeantes, il nous semblait important de donner notre avis. QUELLE DÉCEPTION SUR LE CÔTÉ RESTAURATION.
