The Imperial Dragon Hotel

Stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate my 50th birthday with friends and family . We We were a party of 17 with adults and 4 children aged 10-17. From the moment we arrived to to time we left we were made to feel Special . My room had been decorated on arrival with swan towel design , red petals and 50th birthday confetti on the bed and a card . We had booked a meal at Lokkys restaurant on site and were given a room to ourselves which they again had decorated with balloons . Following our meal we had access to a private lounge which was cosy and spacious enough for 17 of us which allowed us to play a few games etc and have a drink . The meal was fantastic . Plentiful , tasty and attention to detail was outstanding . We had breakfast included both mornings and it was delicious . Choice of cereals and fruit and yoghurt , then selection off the menu for breakfast from Salmon to a full English . Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and served with a smile . Staff were very attentive and very obliging . Shout out to Angela on reception and RJ in the restaurant who went above and beyond to check I was having a good time . I will definitely return .

Fabulous cosy hotel with very attentive and friendly staff. Our room was a good size with a huge comfy bed, a hot shower and tea and coffee making facilities. It was very quiet even with Storm Darragh raging outside. Our tasty breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of choice from cereal to a full welsh . We ate in Lokky's restaurant during our stay and can highly recommend, our food was amazing, the service superb. A lovely hotel which we will return to

Just headed back from a 2 night break with my partner. We stayed in the china room, it was so clean, comfortable and spacious. Food was absolutely delicious and reasonable price Breakfast was also great, plenty on the menu to choose from aswel as the continental. The staff was amazing, nothing was to much trouble, sue even made me a coffee to take out ready for the journey home. Everything was service with a smile so if your looking for 5 star treatment then the imperial dragon is the place to go Will definitely return

Good points: Staff lovely, and want to please. Good parking. Fab superking size bed. Prior to arrival: I needed a king-size bed, didn't need to be ground floor, but would prefer walk in shower as eight years ago had a hip replacement. I also said it was a surprise for my husband so no phone calls, however had a call the day before and my husband saw the name on my phone and it blew the surprise. Not so good: While the decor on reception and the pricy restaurant is lovely, the room we had was a let down. Room 7, which was shower over bath, desperately needs a lick of paint, it was drap and soulless. There were lovely room photos online so I felt overcharged for what we got. Breakfast: Only yoghurts left were toffee, and no information on where the food came from, locally or free range eggs etc. Just felt a bit cheap and Travel Lodge experience overall.

What a lovely place. They’ve done a refurb since I went last and it is lovely, so tasteful! The staff are so friendly, rooms spacious and clean and the most comfortable beds! Gorgeous Japanese on site restaurant, Lokkys! Not cheap but well worth it, the food was exquisite! Passion fruit cheesecake was to die for as was the Teriyaki.

wow wow what can i say about this gorgeous Hotel .wonderful staff so helpful cant do enough for you . Nothing is too much trouble .Although Lokkys unfortunately wasnt open on Monday for our visit we has an amazing takeaway from their Dragon Palace restaurant. Again amazing one of the best chinese meals we have had recently . Beds are a bliss and pillows .Thank you to Sue who looked after our needs exceptional customer service.
